Has an MS/Nvidia update turned DX12 on? If you had it off.
I saw big FPS drops in cockpit if I looked at the terminal buildings when I had DX12 on with my previous GPU.
Thanks for that - DX12 Beta was showing in the options, have turned that off and already hearing a lot less fan activity. (It was running flat out on application boot up before!)I saw big FPS drops in cockpit if I looked at the terminal buildings when I had DX12 on with my previous GPU.
In flight everything is back to normal now - so thanks again for the tip!

My flying may seem like I am hammered already.
They are more to jazz it up a bit, was a bit sterile in there.
It’s dry January anyway.
When can I come down for a session ?They are more to jazz it up a bit, was a bit sterile in there.

Got a couple of hours in last night, mainly me messing about then watching YT videos when I realise I am hopeless and have a lot to learn.

Anyone have the Turtlebeach Yoke ? Have a brand new one at home that I’m selling for my best mates mum.
Currently use a TM Warthog but I do fly GA and the PMDG 737.
I can’t decide between the TB Yoke the TM 737 Yoke or just sticking with the Warthog.
My main concern is could I be arsed to keep taking it off and on my desk ….
+1 on this question. My old Saitek creaks and is getting a bit sticky and juddery despite me taking it apart and dolloping silicone grease all over it. I'm considering the Turtlebeach as a bit of an upgrade.Currently use a TM Warthog but I do fly GA and the PMDG 737.

It does still get excited if you pass over New York at low level and high speed though

Sounds like a bargain! Photos of the mum please.Todays purchase, a Stream Deck XL.
Was looking at keyboards and all sorts but kept coming back to these.
If you haven’t debone it’s a big box of 32 programmable buttons that display whatever icon you want.
The cool bit is you can buy profiles that match, for example the PMDG 737. Comes with all the functions mapped with appropriate icons.
https://secure.simmarket.com/flight-panels-pmdg-bo...
So should do away with me fumbling round for CTRL this and Shift that in the dark.
You aren’t limited to 32 commands, can have pages for say navigation, engine control, camera angles etc that are as sub menus, up to ten levels though that sounds unlikely to be needed.

Trouble is my desk isn’t straight I had it built with an angle to maximise space …
The Yoke has 2 mounting points … If I use the right hand side straight edge there is not enough room because of the pc under the desk.
If I use the left straight edge I’m going to be looking right at the screen :-(
