I bit the bullet and bought msfs a couple of days ago and for me it’s been a buggy mess.
On a few occasions it’s just crashed to desktop, so I decided to wipe it and do a fresh install only for it to hang when decompressing.
Wouldn’t be quite so bad but it takes bloody hours to download!

Anyone had similar and can shed any light?
I’ve given up in disgust now and gone back to dcs..
Like FS of old it’s a fickle thing I’ve never had any probs but next week maybe different !

My flying may seem like I am hammered already.

They are more to jazz it up a bit, was a bit sterile in there.

It’s dry January anyway.
When can I come down for a session ?

Anyone have the Turtlebeach Yoke ? Have a brand new one at home that I’m selling for my best mates mum.

Currently use a TM Warthog but I do fly GA and the PMDG 737.

I can’t decide between the TB Yoke the TM 737 Yoke or just sticking with the Warthog.

My main concern is could I be arsed to keep taking it off and on my desk ….

+1 on this question. My old Saitek creaks and is getting a bit sticky and juddery despite me taking it apart and dolloping silicone grease all over it. I'm considering the Turtlebeach as a bit of an upgrade.
I’ve decided to have it so I’ll let you know when I get home … I’ve not told the Mrs yet … hehe

Got a couple of hours in last night, mainly me messing about then watching YT videos when I realise I am hopeless and have a lot to learn.
Can’t you set it up like a 2 seater ? Tomcat ? biggrin

Don't buy any Honeycomb gear before doing your research looks like they maybe in trouble ....

Having said that if you want to take the risk of maybe not having support down the line Aerosoft have the Throttle Quadrant and the Yoke for 145 Euros each at the mo ...

Mmmm I don’t think it’s going to work looking at the mounting mechanism …

Trouble is my desk isn’t straight I had it built with an angle to maximise space …

The Yoke has 2 mounting points … If I use the right hand side straight edge there is not enough room because of the pc under the desk.

If I use the left straight edge I’m going to be looking right at the screen :-(
