That's very generous of you. I'm playing on ps5. I end up playing quite late in the evening, my wife isn't a huge fan of me monopolising the TV! But I'm sure she'd make an exception.

I hardly play warzone now, as I die and then go back to the lobby, at least with rebirth, I get to respawn for a bit.

i get really bad lag on WZ, not rebirth.

Yep... have been seeing the three orange squares that indicate packet loss... so I turned on the packet loss and latency display and looks fine <50ms ping and 0% packet loss allegedly. Still getting random "lag" though.

I think I have won a few gunfights because of it.

I'll play with you sometime. We can drop into Verdansk Resurgence, or Rebirth Resurgence. Both have a more forgiving cadence. Or plunder too.

There are some little tips and tricks that can speed you your play in the settings, a couple of the top of my head:

1) turn off auto-parachute deploy. Get to the ground quicker.
2) armour plate behaviour - put all in at once
3) play inverted controls (on ps4 at least, the triggers L1 and L2 have different travel lengths, so switch to L1 and R1 as aim/shoot. Can be the difference when you need to fire quickly)
4) set square button to 'contextual tap' - you can open a chest with just a tap of the button, and not having to press and hold. Means you dont need to stop moving in order to open a chest.
5) change controller sensitivity a bit to make it repsond faster. Thats a trade off though - you'll need to get to grips with it a bit, but you gotta remember youre playing against PC players with ultrawide monitors, bigger FOV and they only need to move their mouse a flick of the wrist to spin right around!

Adding to this I always turn off motion blur and film grain to clean up the picture. You can even try putting on the colour blind modes to make things easier to see. Set mini map to square so you can see more on it.

I'm colour blind tried all the settings made no difference. I tend to use thermal sights to help me. But unfortunately penalised for it, by the time you are looking you are dead.

I am also colour blind, and neither of the filters seem to work so I have set it to both, don’t know if it helps or not. Quite often can’t see people at all, so whether that’s just me being terrible or my vision, I don’t know.

I struggle with spotting movement. Ive watched my death videos with movements miles away yet picked up, I know I wouldn't have spotted it.

Eesh sorry guys I'm afraid there's not much that can be done on that one. I played the first few months needing contact lenses for my Keratoconus. Through a combination of getting my lenses, getting better, getting a 4k TV etc...

The end of CW S3 and the beginning of S4 have seen a bit of a drop off in me and my group playing.

Probably a combination of things, but definitely not as engaged with this season so far.

You could play Warzone for free.

Black Ops Cold War is the current one, and to be fair the multiplayer is pretty good now. Modern Warfare is the previous one, and I personally prefer the mechanics from that game. Both are fun though.

Warzone is free on both consoles and PC. For the PS4 see:

As gregs said, the free version of will only get you access to the online Battle Royale this is Warzone. For either standard multiplayer or a single player campaign you would need to buy Cold War or Modern Warfare. Can't say I was a fan of the Cold War campaign at all, nor the Modern Warfare one for that matter. As for the online multiplayer, I would say the jury is out on which is the better multiplayer game, with plenty of advocates on both sides. However with Cold War being the newer game you're likely to have a better chance of finding lobbies with a decent ping as more people are playing it.

Never seem to get on at the same time as my mates anymore, either that or they just don't come on. If anyone wants to add me my name on there is same as here. I like to play all the game modes, mostly just been taking my brain out and playing rebirth and plunder recently.

Rebirth is really a great game. It is more about close fighting not sniping as much as WZ. I bought blops just to play rebirth

Been enjoying the ZRG sniper and cold war AK47 a lot recently however I did seem to be getting lasered by a lot of people using the Fara the other day. When I saw the killcam there was literally zero recoil. I thought we were past all this weapon balancing bullst. Did it get a recent buff??
