Got the game few days ago but only managed a few minutes on Campaign so far.
I'm playing on PC and the cut scenes are stuttering.
144Hz monitor, GTX 1080, 16GB RAM and i7 8k so I hope it's not my hardware.
Although the game is saved on secondary SATA HDD due to size so I've ordered 500GB SSD today to hopefully improve performance.
HDD is probably the cause and the SSD should alleviate the problem but watch it doesn’t try to redownload the whole game when you move it!I'm playing on PC and the cut scenes are stuttering.

I get occasional stutter during cut scenes but it’s typically due to downloading and installing shaders in the background. If I wait a few mins before playing it doesn’t do it.
This chap (best game reviewer on YouTube IMHO) mentioned stuttering on pc cut scenes also. Seems to be a common issue.

I played through the campaign, will not touch MP as I’m ste at it. Fantastic, immersive and cinematic but much too short.
Getting traded today to offset the cost of Luigis Mansion for the nippers.

Can I ask how long it took you to complete the campaign mode, as that's all I'd by it for.https://youtu.be/X0wkJADzmSg

As an example, I did the campaign in Battlefront 2 in probably 20 hours (I do take my time though, more cautious than rush headlong into things).

Took me roughly 5-6hrs to complete on regular difficulty and I'm no FPS god.....don't get me wrong it's an amazing experience but at £50 a bit steep if you're only going to play campaign. As an example, I did the campaign in Battlefront 2 in probably 20 hours (I do take my time though, more cautious than rush headlong into things).

Does spec ops have split screen? Tempted to give it a crack with my better half.
I don't think so, I've only managed to split screen online multiplayer, not co-op, spec-ops or survival. Strange set up. Saying that, absolutely loving this game, reminds me of those lost weeks after MW1/2/3 came out.
MP is a lot slower on this COD. Slow and steady with a lot of pre-aiming. Kill streaks are back so a lot of people just farm kills rather than play the objective (I play Dom and HQ). Maps aren't you typical 3 lane jobs but have many ways to navigate them however they have a lot of places someone will set up home in and stick a claymore behind them. This seems to be the norm (campy). Overall though it's a great game and I am really enjopying it. Some games you're the lampost, some games you're the dog.

Got a new SSD today and in the process of moving the game folder over I get occasional stutter during cut scenes but it’s typically due to downloading and installing shaders in the background. If I wait a few mins before playing it doesn’t do it.
Also noticed there is a large update today.

I'm debating whether to pick this up or not.. I haven't enjoyed a COD since the early Modern Warfares and Black Ops. How does the multiplayer compare to the earlier games?
Very good. I lost interest in the franchise when you could rocket pack around and the weapons were so good they favoured the unemployed. I’ve just been playing and despite only having a P90 playing domination I’ve been able to do quite well. Just like the old days.djc206 said:

Its very tough in places, and can be more luck than judgement to get through. Memory plays a part in getting through save / spawn points. Probably took around 8-9rs total.
I'm enjoying MP. As is said back to the old days. Weapon progress is good, but has many layers to it. Also noticed that some of the better perks - like FMJs are given early. I've put in around 7-8hrs on MP and am at Lvl 35. I was off most of last week with a broken rib. CoD and Co-codamol get me through the week!!! Plus kids at school meant I could dominate the longe.

Thanks for the replies all, I'll probably get it sometime next year when 2nd hand prices have come down a bit.As an example, I did the campaign in Battlefront 2 in probably 20 hours (I do take my time though, more cautious than rush headlong into things)..
I've been enjoying the multiplayer more and more. It seems with some of the future improvements already announced, it'll only get better. Sure, it still has it's downsides. If you're on the losing team you can find yourself stuck in a spawn trap that's very hard to get out of. Footsteps are still too loud, but that's changing soon and automated call outs will be inaudible to the other team. The 725 shotgun remains hilariously powerful at range and will surely be nerfed.
On the upside, i think it brings a new dimension to the way CoD is played that hasn't really existed in previous games. Rushing and hoping for the best won't get you very far, you need to slow down and think it all through i.e. where are the enemy likely to be camping / head glitching, am i using my tactical equipment correctly (makes a big difference), what can i hear around me, do i need to find a different route across the map etc etc. The more I find myself thinking about all off that, the better the outcome tends to be.
I was also quite late to the party in terms of bothering with completing the daily / mission challenges. The daily challenges are unfortunately bugged and not necessarily tracking progress properly. I did the 75 SMG kills one yesterday and that was fine, but the various 'win matches' ones weren't working properly. The mission challenges all seem to work properly and having something like that to work towards just gives you something else to do and can make you mix up your classes and get away from using your standard set up time and again.
I think the people who get the game for Christmas will be walking straight into what will have become a really good MP experience.

Definitely some improvements to be made but the game style is slightly refershing. I just can't react quick enough, in fact it seems like even when I get the drop on another player they can just turn round and shoot me dead. I'm not the only one that experiences that looking at YouTube.
Maybe I got too old. All the kids send me abusive messages as well.
