On the upside, i think it brings a new dimension to the way CoD is played that hasn't really existed in previous games. Rushing and hoping for the best won't get you very far, you need to slow down and think it all through i.e. where are the enemy likely to be camping / head glitching, am i using my tactical equipment correctly (makes a big difference), what can i hear around me, do i need to find a different route across the map etc etc. The more I find myself thinking about all off that, the better the outcome tends to be.
Couldn't have put it better myself.

I tweaked the way I play yesterday and it seems to work fairly well. I'm now going round the edges of the maps and have slowed down my game play.

I still suck at ground war though laugh

I couldn't get to grips with it either, so I've started treating the mode like a testing ground for weapons and attachments. Also an excuse to have fun with the shield hehe

I really enjoy Cyber Attack, HQ is good too.

Sooner that shotgun gets nerfed the better. I get the occasional match where some tts using it

Enjoying it aside from that as said its a new way to play cod. Hard to jump in on an evening after work when you're fked though, I am definitely not as reactive as some of the people online, I was about 20 when MW2 was released suspect thats got something to do with it...

I've seen some talk of some of the MW2 maps coming in download content, I'm hoping that's true.

And that shotgun really does need nerfing, there was a guy in the Leicester Square map that was nigh on unstoppable last night, you had to pick him off from range otherwise you were killed

I'm picking up a copy of the game tomorrow, but I spotted an article where they'd investigated the game files and found MW2 maps that hadn't been included thus far - so I think it's confirmed.

Loved Rust and Sub Base. Hopefully us older gamers can get the drop on these whippersnappers with their quick reactions for a week or so until they learn the maps laugh

At 35 last game I played was MW2 and it's like putting a pair of well worn shoes. I'm not as good as I once was but I'm winning death matches and coming top three in most modes.

Played last night and managed to win nearly every game of Domination and Team Deathmatch. Not sure if now i'm a slightly higher level the matchmaking is being kinder or if i'm getting better laugh

Really enjoying it still on PC, it's a nice mix between what I loved in Battlefield 4 and the COD stuff.
Do enjoy the slower pace, there are a couple campers, but you learn the spots and can play around it if you are smart.

Ground war is crazy

I think audio needs remixing , it is SO loud, for example I play with windows volume at 100, max on headset and on PUBG it's just right, but on COD it's deafeningly loud so you need to drop windows volume down to around 60, but then that messes up discord etc.

Also I would like better in-game party stuff, to do with teaming up and some way of pushing players to play the objectives rather than try and go just for kills

I won a domination game, I was top of the server, at 18 kills 14 deaths, but everyone else had a negative KD on our team, but we still won by 70 points.
However, the other team top fragger was something like 32 for 15, second was 25 for 20 or something.

I've had it where I've had 7 or 8 captures and the rest of my team has had 2 or 3 and we lose.
Very frustrating.

Tbh I'd forgotten how many people don't play the game and treat every mode as team death match..... Very annoying.

That’s precisely why I’ve removed S&D and that Cyber one from my playlist.

Fed up of people not playing the objectives and just watching from their camping spots. Shame but it is what it is.

Enjoying all of the other game modes though.

Think the problem with people not playing the objective is kill streaks there is absolultely no incentive to cap a flag.

Latest patch has a 725 nerf! Yay.

Glad you posted that, I was going to have a few games lunchtime so have started the update now.

Shame they've reduced the damage at range the FR 5.56 causes, I really like that gun!

I'm itching to play! Only get chance for a couple of hours at the weekend.

Shame it's taking a while to get back into the swing of it, I was pretty decent at BF1 and COD back in the day, but not so much on this

Bought it, did the campaign, found about 15min to play on multi player and got starched in every way possible haha, I don't have the time to invest in this game nowadays so I've sold it on for what I paid. Its a good game but not for me nowadays.

I think until you've ranked up a few times MP is quite hard as you don't know the maps and you're equipped with pea shooter! I really struggled at first, got the hang of it now although there are still a few maps I have no clue where I'm going or where people hide Grazna I'm looking at you laugh
