It's rebirth island today.....in the dark which makes it harder than normal.
The new map was available briefly in custom private servers, but they obviously realised and removed it.

It's basically an 80's Verdansk, just reskin of some buildings from what I could see

Yeah it’s mildly different. Some people have gotten into the new map it looks totally by accident.

Reality they have just re used the Halloween challenge & added a building on rebirth making it dark.

Thanks for the video hadnt seen that -

I actually think it looks ace - still familiar but loads of new stuff - has a different colour pallete / vibe to it

Yeah it should be good for a while. I’m terrible at warzone do plunder only for me.

Can’t complain about anything when it’s a free game I guess!

I imagine at some point there must be a new map - however this will definitely freshen things up alot - plenty of entirely new areas but still a good flow as the map overall i think works well. You can choose your poison - drop super and go mad or camp at dam with a sniper

I imagine its too much of a risk to launch a completely new map which the playerbase could hate. Launch of a new BR / battlefield could mean they will have to gamble at some point?

On another note - patch notes look promising - plenty of nerfs across the board with detailed explanations - seems they are listening.

Could be one of the more balanced seasons fingers crossed no broken guns - it's just boring now having a meta everyone needs to use.

Patch notes even say they want to encourage players to explore all guns and attachments which is fun

It is kind of funny that after all this time, all those rumors about Verdansk blowing up 'next week' etc... they finally blow it up and then take us back in time, back to Verdansk. From the video above it looks like it could be quite good. I thought there might be more changes - on the other hand it was a city of soviet style tower blocks anyway.

I see the new Battlefield is being teased today.

other day i was questioning Shotguns btw, have found the VLK to be pretty decent. Once you level up enough, seems to have a fairly decent punch, 8 rounds and can fire pretty quick.

This 10 minute rebirth thing...what’s the deal?

Played once, that ended, dropped into quads halfway through a game.

Second game, rebirth ends, drop into verdansk to watch the victory credits.

Third and last, after rebirth, dropped into a small game in verdansk, and got a win.

Don’t get the point of the rebirth part?!

i don't get verdansk has gone back to the 80s yet rebirth is normal, after they had the new map for 12 hours...

It's a bit half arsed.

They've turned the colour down and rebuilt a few buildings.

Yes it seems the northern part of the map quite significant changes. Quite like that like summit has cable cars.
But the whole of the south side of the map boneyard station promenade etc. They have added some trees and a paint job. That’s it.
Disappointing.

Couldnt get on last night.

waited 20 mins, gave up, re-started the game and immediatly had the 27gb download to do. AGAIN.

Which bit of MW do i need to install to make this 27GB problem go away. And why the hell havent they patched the damn thing yet. Its been happening for a couple of weeks at least.
