If it's a notification for weapons, you've probably unlocked a camo or attachment

Either I'm being thick, or something is wrong with my game.

All of the battle pass stuff seems to be locked, with the exception of the very first item (Light Machine Gun Charlie)

The next items have the padlock symbol on them, and I don't have them. Up in the top right it says "Battle Pass Inactive. Current Tier: 5"

Any ideas people?

I've got the green dot in the banner too. It's just dawned on me that it might be that the banner is available in another game mode. With the Black Ops games you sometimes had to go into Zombies to clear the green dot and stop it showing up in multiplayer. I'd check now but...

...I've had to download a 7GB update tonight. Might be worth triggering the update if you want it good to go when you fancy a game, rather than a frustrating wait.

Idiots, never EVER in 15 years of PC Gaming have I come across a game with such HUGE and frequent updates.

I got the Grau in the battle pass without paying? Mines updating now (again) so I can't check to see if you need to select anything to participate. 8 have noticed a lot of locked items though, I think I only got a couple of freebies so far

No, I haven’t bought it. The poster above (and the game itself) suggests that the first 20 tiers don’t have to be paid for.

I don't do pc gaming but on the Xbox the updates are done automatically.
I like them, it keeps it fresh.

Don't buy the battle pass, even without it you are technically ranking up thru it but most items are locked so you won't get them, most are pointless things anyway, the important things are the Grau at level 15 and the Striker at 31which will be unlocked even without the battle pass when you reach that rank level. Just keep playing away and keep an eye on how you are ranking up on Battle Pass. If you get to 15 check in your assault rifles for the Grau.

Thank you, that makes sense.

It’s very confusing though, as the game says the first 20 tiers are available to anybody who owns the game without buying a battle pass. Seems like only a couple of items are actually available.

My trouble is, I totally suck, and I'm lucky to have a K/D ratio of better than 1:3
Still fun though, but it does get annoying being constantly murdered by everyone.

I've been playing a lot of the most pit games in Shipment and Rust, Shipment is very much luck of the draw on kill death ratio! Annoyingly the update has added Shoot House to those 2, I don't really like that map

Yeah that's game mode we went on last night, it was Shoot House that I was really bad on too. People simply didn't play the objective so I fell right into their hands lol.

I prefer the objective based modes like Domination, Kill Confirmed and HQ. Its all about the points for me so it forces me and others into trying to take the bases. I would like a better K/D ratio but keeping a plus 2000 points average is my goal as after all its points that win the objective games.

I hate Team Deathmatch as its all about camping. Campers on Domination are a pain. HQ has its need for a bit camping to protect the base but campers on Kill Confirmed are the worse. I mean you have to collect tags to win.
