I was awoken at 4am with Hotstock alerts from Argos. I didn't go through with it, kind of regret it now. But generally the Series X should be quite a bit easier to get hold of now.
Indeed. I thought the shortage would only last a week or so.
I might get one if MS flightsim 2020 is good on it and not just a dumbed down version of the pc game.
I’ve got till summer though so hopefully more stock will be available then.

I'd clicked 5 mins before your post - was sold out then.
What I'm getting really irritated at is why the hell I can't just order one. If it takes a week or 4 months... That's fine. Got to be the most botched console generation release to date.
game are allowing to preorder, just bundles though, but if you want one just wait a week i think, loads on their website. What I'm getting really irritated at is why the hell I can't just order one. Has anyone else had issues with their controller?
My right trigger has been sticking, a quick google showed it to be a somewhat common occurence
Have raised a support return as its still in warranty until Oct but they need it for 10-15 days apparently so have had to shell out £60 for a new one in the interim

Not had that issue but it has always been a bit flaky with regards to connection with the console. Had a controller update yesterday, don't know if that will help.
Mine seems to have been fairly steady in that regard recently but yeah did see an update the other day, hopefully my new controller won't go the same way, its not a killer except on things like Forza where you are still accelerating when you should be breaking maybe I'll keep it and let my nephew use it, might beat him that waygregs656 said:
I only paid slightly more than that for a Elite Series 2 from Amazon Warehouse (a return).
Worth checking what the prices are like. The Elite is excellent.
I have always wondered on the Elite but read some not great reviews, that sounds a much more reasonable price though, I'll search for Amazon WarehouseWorth checking what the prices are like. The Elite is excellent.

My Series X frequently crashes, I get graphical glitches on Cold War and Fall Out, then a crash to home screen. Microsoft are blaming the games and that it isn’t a console issue. On the contrary my PS5 has been faultless, guess I’ll need to invent a more fictitious error in order to get MS to swap it over.
Odd, I can't remember the last time mine crashed, it sometimes struggles with Quick Resume and reconnecting to online services but thats itajprice said:

The limited editions are starting,
The whole thing’s a limited edition. I’m astonished that these and PS5s are still, to all intents and purposes unobtainable so long after the launch.
I’ve never ever seen one for sale.
You do hear about people finding them randomly in Aldi or weird places though.
I can’t see it improving before Christmas which is a big shame.

Aldi have never listed the series X, Tesco do have them though but because they are in selected stores only they don't get picked up by the stock checker websites. You do hear about people finding them randomly in Aldi or weird places though.

Managed to grab an Xbox Series X last week, my 1st go with one having always been a PS buyer...1 and only reason for the change, Forza.
So now I've got it, what game do I start with? Should I just go Forza 4 until 5 comes out? What about MS Flight Sim as well, is that any good?

They’ve been available via game on the monthly access thing for the last week or so but £28.99 for 2 years is just annoying! Did have one in my Amazon basket yesterday after getting notified On the HotStock app but debated too long and they sold out in a couple minutes.
Doesnt seem bad really, i bought one. i sold my last xbox for 100, so 650 for 2 years of gaming is a pretty good deal. they fot for 550 on ebay on there own. I also can't imagine there will be a lot of stock next few months.Maty said:
I signed up to a website called stock checkers, basically they email you when anywhere gets stock of the Series X. I missed out on stock at Amazon and Currys as you have to literally go and buy one as soon as you get the email as the stock goes rapid. I ended up getting it from 4Gadgets UK. Its £28.99 a month for 2 years including a 2 Year Ultimate Games Pass and interest free. So the games pass works out at £10 a month.
Just downloading Forza 4 now....and upgrading my broadband so its faster
yes i did the same, a good bargain really, people will moan, but so far Microsoft flight simulator, and loads of other games worth it really. Only issue is i will need another HDD and they are pricey.Just downloading Forza 4 now....and upgrading my broadband so its faster
