Slightly annoying that the 512gb card only offers 460gb of space? I get that a bit needs to be used for other purposes, but 50 odd gb? That’s a whole game!
Most of that difference will just be down to the fact that drive manufacturers conveniently use the metric system (1GB = 1000MB),even though the Xbox will use the binary one (1GB = 1024MB).

That means that even before the Xbox uses any space, it will only show about 476GB available. So it sounds as though the Xbox is using an additional 16GB.

Ah yep, had forgotten about the conversion. Cheers for the info.

16gb for formatting still seems a bit rich .

Finally decided to upgrade, although coming from a One X I will be honest and say it feels like the smallest jump of any generation, just with quicker load times. Not exactly much of a looker either, just looks like a slab of plastic and on its side it's bugging me that the logo is the wrong way round. Should have put in a way to turn it like the PS2. It is nice and quiet though, Game Pass also remains incredible value, especially spending a few minutes a day doing the MS rewards means I haven't paid for it in years.

The new CoD is a good nextgen game, for me it’s been the biggest jump in visuals so far.

How do manage that with gamepass? I do the MS rewards. It takes ages to even build up a £5 voucher.

If you have a PC, you can build them really quickly by installing the original Age of Empires. If you sit in a multiplayer lobby for a few minutes you'll get about 250 points from the app. On Edge save 30 or so searches into a folder, click on the daily links then open them all at once for another 250 or so points.

^ this, but also....

Download the Game Pass App on your mobile/tablet and do all the daily, weekly and monthly quests in there (easy for 1500 points a month)

Plus, download the Rewards app on the console itself and do the weekly and monthly quests - easy for at least 3000 points a month

Haven't paid Game Pass Ultimate for years either and average about 15000 points a month.

It's a bit of a faff, but beats paying biggrin
