Gah, so many updates and such slow broadband mad

The XBSX doesn’t fit where my XB1X used to sit and now all my cables are on show. eek

My newish tv doesn’t support 120fps games, but not a huge disappointment.

But at least it’s here and working cool

Nice, looks nice Horizontal too

Did your TV/Series X tell you about the 120fps?

Have you got an appropriate HDMI cable buried in the wall for it? Nice set up.

I think it looks fine on its side, there’s virtually no warm air coming out of the side, it’s super quiet.

120fps, yes when I went into the tv settings -

I did wonder about that, I put in 4 of these cables but I can’t see if 120 is supported -

Was there an HDMI in the box? If so worth a test if you can get to a port?

The fact they highlight 60Hz on that ad makes me wonder

Unless your TV is a decent 2019/2020 set 120hz is unlikely but test with the cable it came with

I’ll try now and report back, thanks.

Edit - it’s the same with either cable, I wasn’t expecting miracles out of a 75" Philips tv for £950, assume the next range up get a few more features.

Yup, it’ll be a while before I upgrade again so I’ll have to deal with not having 120ps.

If I'm brutally honest I can't see the point of it at the minute.
Paying £450 for quicker loading times and no exclusive games.

Delivered. Much heavier than I imagine and love the fact it's wrapped like a present.

I will be getting one, eventually, but the X currently does the most my TV can support but I'm not convinced i need more resolution than 4k or more than 60fps (which looks awful anyway in my opinion). That, and the fact that there has been no original games for as long as I can remember. I look forward to Farcry 6 but that will be a reskin of 5. All games have been woked down so you no longer get the insults and swearing from the NPC's

GTA has been rinsed and forced down the online route, Battlefield has become COD, COD has become Doom, I will be getting into this but will need to see some significant improvement in games.
