Maybe look outside of the big franchisees? State of Decay is pretty original so is No Mans Sky, Elite Dangerous and Void bds. Depends what you are looking for but the choice nowadays is insane. Online shooters will just be online shooters.

How on earth do I install my Series X version of Fifa 21?

There's a Series X 'tile' for it, which I install, but its only 280mb.
When launched, it takes me to a store page.

Power is finally back on so looking forward to playing valhalla when amazon drop it off in 30 mins or so

Delivered and set up, it's installing stuff now. The power cable is a bit short, it would be tight to put it on my TV unit on the opposite side from the plugs, where I made the space for it this morning . It's a heavy thing, maybe it seems heavy because it's all packed in and dense. Setup with my profile worked using the phone app. That's it for now.

Network transfer is a bit st sadly. It caps at 90mbs and crashes my router taking the broadband down with it. Probably my cheap tp link router if anyone else has had success using it?

What brand of router do you have? My isp provides some poor tp link router which I imagine is the issue then!

Virgin Hub in modem mode into a Mesh Hub and then into a Netgear switch

My friend says his network transfer isn't working either.
Ive already transferred my games to an external SSD, I presume this will be ok.

If you can get the transfer to work do, mines averaging 500mbs, it just did Forza in 16 mins (64Gb) I got all excited, started it, theres an upgrade

Capped at 100mb with 2 cables I dug out. Cat 5e so should be good for 1000mb/s.

Router says good for 300mb but no joy. Not like it matters if the enhanced games all have giant updates to do anyway!

Cool, thanks for the replies. Mine is still out for delivery (38 stops before me!), so its likely Ill just leave it on overnight to do all the updates etc (hopefully).

Port sounds like it's set 100mbit not gigabit

Up and running with Valhalla

Coming from non 4k it's definitely a step up but also the 60fps is lush, everything super smooth, super detailed, very happy
