So if I like new Doom I should try old doom, or are they essentially different games?
I still play through the originals maybe once a year. Like bullet says they are of their era (early/mid 90s) so no story, you just start at level one and work your way up. However they were the first proper FPS and the game play was so balanced that is still holds up today. Worst case, they cost a few quid for the entire bundle (1, 2, expansion packs) on Steam and will play on any computer, so worth dipping into.Just be prepared to get used to not being able to look up or down.

Back on topic, I'm looking forward to Doom Eternal and will be purchasing. Doubt i'll play the multiplayer side much, i'll be in it for the campaign. Although come to think if it i'll have to delete another game off the PS4 to fit it on. Despite the 250GB hard drive, I can only fit 3 games on it (CoD MW, Rocket League, The Last of Us Remastered), which is a bit of a joke. So along with Doom Eternal, I'm also looking forward to the release of thePS5!

You can just plug in an external hard drive by the way, that would solve your storage problems.
