All a bit disappointing for me, only thing that stood out for me was Spider-Man and Horizon. Very little gameplay to speak of. Trailers are well and good, but I want to see gameplay above everything else.

What the fk are Rockstar doing. GTAV is 7 years old, just let it die for fks sake.

Very difficult to tell given the quality of the stream. Just hope it's better than the god awful presentation of the event.

Spiderman looked good, GT 7 looked good and I'm sure will be decent. Not really that fussed about most of the other games shown.

Just tell us the price and when we can buy one.

R* are still making millions from shark cards from GTA online, they'll want to keep that cash cow going for as long as possible. Bringing it to the next gen could expand the length of time that money rolls in for by about 4 or 5 years. Pretty sure it was said that if you've got it on current gen it'll be free on next gen, which takes the whole fanbase over for another few years.

Looking forward to the Xbox reveal now, hopefully it's a bit better than last nights.

Did anyone watch the chat afterwards between the 3 people on Skype/Zoom? They said they were expecting anything from Rockstar to be RDR2, not GTA5. They had a point hehe . Something else from them was that the Ratchet and Clank video was showing the small/non existent loading time as part of the game, with the weapon that was effectively a Portal gun pulling him through to different levels and surroundings.

Going by the size of the disc slot, the PS5 is massive

Does it only sit vertically? If it can't be laid flat then I'll have nowhere to put it under the TV so it will be a no go.

Can go horizontal but looks a bit awkward to me.

Am I just being a grumpy old man at intensely disliking that every single under-TV "device" is designed as if it's the only thing to sit in pride of place under the TV?

Nothing stacks. It's a sea of odd shapes that look terrible next to one another.

Bring back the old stackable format I say. I want a console to look more like a CDTV than some bizarre work of art.

From Outside Xtra? Saw some, will catch up later. Watched the launch via the Eurogamer stream.

Stream was at 1080p I think, so lower than the console can do...

Looks like it has a round 'foot' as a stand to have it horizontal, there's no way it will sit flat on its side with the curved shape of the white panels looking at the front on vertical photos. So will that foot come in the box? Doubt it hehe

I'm not bothered by the look or the size, just as long as its quiet I'm in. My ps4 is so loud it does my head in, got it playing through some decent hifi and its ruined by the constant hairdryer background noise!

Think it’s the base when it’s vertical. Must be detachable.

So Spider-Man; Miles Morales is in fact a DLC and enhancement over the original game, rather than a brand new game.

Disappointing.

yes

Spoiled snowflakes nowadays, worrying about their interiors. All the old consoles were boxy and ugly. Who cares. Its not for looking at.

With wireless controllers, no need to have it on display.

Fastdruid though has a point though, should make them stackable.

A mate of mine recently followed a guide from Youtube after his PS4 pro was getting very noisy. Basically dismantled it, blew out all the dust and replaced the thermal pads on the chips with larger new ones. He says its now virtually silent and only took about 30-40 mins all in to do the work. I intend to do the same as my Pro is also annoyingly loud. He did send me some links ill post them up later.

If you do get a decent how to guide please post the link, our PS4 sounds like a jet engine. Cheers.
