Do you have an active account/new card with the bank/credit card company you paid Staida with? If so the bank does the work of sorting out old car refunds and transferring it to the new card. Half of my Stadia purchases were on the previous AMEX, its all been refunded to the current card. Bonus bit is AMEX hasn't taken away the cashback with each purchase like they normally do, it's not a lot (1.25%), but technically Stadia generated a 'profit' for me smile.

it could be that then, I better check the statements. Both were Barclaycard but just with an older card number.

Given the discussion about the Steam Deck, and the fact GeForce Now essentially runs off Steam I thought I waste some of the Google refund

PSP/DreamCast emulators run really well, and plays nicely with the controls. PS2 emulator is a bit too buggy for me at present, too much graphics shader tunning for each game to mess with.

So UbiSoft appears to have 'ported' most of their games I had 'bought' on Stadia to UbiSoft connect for 'free', so I can now play them on GeForce Now. Stadia has already returned me for these games, so it essentially means am getting to 'keep' these games for free!!

Stadia may have been a financial disaster for Google, but its been the cheapest gaming experience I've come across, and likely ever to experience again.

Google are apparently opening up the Stadia controller to be used on other things!

Hope so (I've got 3 sitting in a box).

They should have done it by now as quite a few customers will have thrown the controller away once it became obsolete.

I feel that Google's 'sunsetting' of software and hardware when users are invested in them may turn them away from other offerings from the company like the Pixel range.

Pixel range is about the only thing they have kept, mind you it was called Nexus before that!

I had the Nexus 7 and 9 tablets which were decent then they stopped making them.

If anyone cares smile Bluetooth unlocking is available now and seems to work fine. You need about 8 fingers on the controller at one point but it's a straightforward process. Got until the end of the year to do it. Not reversible.

Just doing mine now.

So far tried on Linux Brave Browser, Chromium and even Microsoft Edge but it keeps coming up and telling me another tab or program is using the controller.

So fired up the work Windows 10 machine and it worked. Very straight forward, hopefully it will work with RetroArch on my Linux machine now, been playing Golden Eye 007 on there.
