Mine was probably “Rock around the Clock”, Bill Haley and the Comets, 1956 or 1957.
In the early sixties I bought, “The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan”
Years later, around the time that I split with my first wife, 1971?, I bought Leonard Cohen’s “Songs of Love and Hate”, my mother was convinced that I was going to top myself when she heard it!

The Captain Scarlet one was from about 1972, but musically these were the first two. Got for Christmas in 1978:

I'm embarrassed to say it was The Untouchable by Alvin Stardust in 1973.
How I got from there to Judas Priest in 1979 is a mystery to me lol
