Strangely, people do have some warped ideas about what is and isn't right for women to do.

Lots of things on news sites aren't 'stories' that are universally considered newsworthy, and often there is a business interest tied in with an article.

It is a story that addresses a serious point that for many people will be meaningful. Lots of women in many cultures (including British) are treated as possession who are expected to adhere to expectations imposed on them. This is just an aspect of that. If Lilly addresses the issue head on and she makes a few quid, who cares?

It is interesting how quick the condemnation of this article is though, especially as it isn't aimed at the vast majority of us who use this site.
