Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

So having never played a cod game before put the disc in and installed the game.
I thought I'd try out the campaign, it's got a padlock on it.
So you have to download the campaign in 3 parts...wtf gotta wait a few more hours.
Ok I'll try this zombie mode, I join what I think is the lobby loading screen, keeps recycling and nothing loading, f it go out and go back in a try another map but still no luck.
Hmm ok let me play Warzone..whatever that is.
Click on it and get a message saying can't load app or find game. What's happening now.
Go on Reddit and apparently you have to download modern warfare warzone to be able to play this.

t, I've not actually had a chance to play a game yet. 
Makes me think what was actually on the disc since the majority of the game needs to be downloaded smh.

Got an Xbox One X recently. Downloaded COD Warzone online, no disk needed. It took a while and takes space. It's free. The easiest and simplest way to do it. I thought I'd try out the campaign, it's got a padlock on it.

I played the alpha and the beta but decided not to buy it. I haven't bothered with a campaign since Ghosts and I've never really got the zombies thing. From what I hear, the campaign and zombies are the best part of this game which is no good to me. Only 8 maps at launch on mp isn't good enough.
As much as the original black ops is my 2nd favourite COD, Nuketown was never my favourite map and they always seem to drag this one out.
For now I'm happy with playing Plunder most nights with my mates on Modern Warfare and I still have a few multiplayer sessions to keep me entertained. I might end up with Cold War at some point when the problems have been ironed out a bit and there are more maps to play.

This is pretty much where i've ended up. The Modern Warfare multiplayer is actually quite enjoyable these days. Because a lot of people have moved on from it, those who are left seemed to be a lot more inclined to actually play the game as it's supposed to be played. I've had a few games this week and in modes like Hardpoint / Headquarters, it's clear pretty much everyone is actually playing the objective so the games have been really enjoyable. Much less camping too from what I can tell 
Pretty much getting a full crash/lock up every time I play this now, the only way that seems to stop the crashing is to turn off the ray tracing.
Currently resetting the console, cannot be arsed to delete the game and re-download it.
If the reset doesn’t cure it I’m going to try asking for a refund.

I finished the campaign in 3 hours last night on "realisitic", it was laughably easy.
A fun story and a cool setting but boy does it get stupid towards the end.

Loving the Zombies on BOCW. They’ve really listened to the complaints made about previous games, mainly that there’s plenty of ammo now. Lots of Easter eggs and the ability to get the better guns from the trials which keep adding until you get legendary weapons like the DIE machine or pack-a-punched weapons.
