If you’re looking to buy a console, register interest with the BT store. I did this a couple of weeks ago, and have just been sent an email with a code to allow me to buy a PS5 as they’ve had some more stock in.

Order seems to be in, so let’s see if it arrives!

Alternatively, as they seem to have stock at the moment you can try to purchase without registering… I assume the code gives preference to those who registered an interest.

Ah, sorry. Not I did not think that BT would be in scope for a PS5 smile

Back in stock at my local Game. They seem to be getting a few on occasional days, advertising it on social media, then quickly selling out. Though they don't always advertise they have sold out, leaving you to get to the store to receive the bad news.

I picked one up from Argos earlier. I just need some games now, while I wait for GT7.

If you go into the store you get a fair few free games....... They are PS4 games but it is things like Days Gone, Fallout 4 and Gods of War - all can keep you amused until Far Cry and Battlefield come out...

Mine (from the BT shop) should be arriving this afternoon via Parcelforce, all being well!

Only free if you are subscribed to PS Plus, but still worth it.

I paid £25 for 1 year PS Plus and easily had £25 worth of fun out of Days Gone alone.

Indeed. PS Plus is well worth it - pick it up in one of the regular sales, and it’s a bargain.

I've kept seeing messages from local Game stores every day this week saying they have limited stocks in their stores, then a few hours later they are out of stock. I wonder if they are just releasing so many for sale each day to maintain hype?

My local Game is in Sports Direct and as I was in buying some trainers on Friday I thought I’d enquire as to stocks. They had a few in the back so I bought one. He said they are getting a delivery regularly. He didn’t have any digital versions.

There are some good free games on there, but as today was wet all day I went out and got Spiderman Miles Morales. It’s a good story and the graphics are some of the best I have seen on a game.

If it is priced similar to Elite V2 for the xbox it will also need that weighty quality component feel you get with the Elite V2. It's not just about the functionality but when you use the Elite controller it is very obvious how much better built it is. I'd love that to be the design, though the high price may not be ideal for volume sales. I await further info :-). I'm sure I'll get one either way. Cheers

Why is this better than the standard controller?

The build quality of the current controllers is poor IME so it can't get much worse....
