Is it headed to gamepass?
If you sat through the entire xbox presentation like me they were subliminally selling game pass with a big "Get it on game pass" screen after every single game trailer, there were 11. So I think the answer is yes.

The very beginning of the video posted above briefly says “Play it on day one on Game Pass”, so I reckon so.

The big question for me, is will it play on an R5 2700X and a GTX1080?

I suspect not, but here’s hoping.

I already had low expectations for this, but they are now even lower given that the game will run at 30fps on the Series X. Microsoft must be tearing their collective hair out over the badly-optimised turds their studios are turning out.
It's a PC game ported to console, we've had enough of st quality console ports to PC so, you're welcome smile

30FPS is a bit of an embarrassing farce in this day and age but they get away with it because they're hoping to appeal to those with low expectations or those who seem unable to recognise a faster frame rate.
30fps at 4k for the Xbox X for what is in comparison a 2070 Super and 30fps at 1440p for the S which is at best a 7 year old GTX 1070 or at worst a 1060 3GB. It's a step on from Fallout 4 (released 8 years ago) which could manage 60fps at 4k on the X. I'd have preferred it if they dropped the current consoles, launched just on PC and then waited for the next generation of console before releasing. Then you won't have to buy it twice.

Modders added DLSS to Skyrim, they will do it to Starfield if it isn't there already.

With Elder Scrolls VI not expected until 2028 (at the earliest) and no Fallout 5 until after that this game will be the expected time sink and with Microsoft delaying it's launch for almost a year should be less of the car crash launch of previous games. It's said to have more play hours than any previous Bethesda game too.

I might have been tempted with a pre-order if they had a nice collectors edition around £100, but the constellation edition is a bit too pricey for me, especially if I'd need a console to go with it!
At least they have changed the Constellation Edition from US only and it's now available elsewhere, but not here yet.

That was the Fallout 76 cheap garbage bag, the previous Fallout 4 stuff was better (the Pipboy thing) I don't think they will make that mistake again.

We all know the watch is going to be cheap and of little use other than telling the time, it can pair with the game and give notifications but I think it's only job will be sitting in it's box on display alongside the Fallout 4 Pipboy, Fallout 76 helmet (or did the pull that) and a Pipboy statue or put on Ebay for a profit when they sell out.

I'll stick with mine smile

10 months since Bethesda's original launch date, past Bethesda games were ok after 10 months. (Fallout 76 excluded).

Info from Bethesda's Pete Hines Q&A. No spoilers just more game details. Including the ability for modders to add planets.

I don't know how it will even run on an Xbox Series S, everywhere tested has the S series GPU equivalent to a GTX 1650 or Radeon 5500 XT. Both are under the minimum requirements for a PC.

More official news, planets can be fully explored but they are in sections with loading screens between/opening new areas of the map by flying your ship to them. The whole planet isn't loaded in one go. Sections are Skyrim sized and can take 40 mins to walk across. Makes sense considering the details on some.

No plugin yet, but there are Starfield icons for Stream Deck available so they can be applied to in game hotkeys.

Pretty basic but cover the game style.

I have played Fallout 3, New Vegas, Fallout 4 and I have never used VATS. I always used my own targeting skills smile
