I think it will be too late to complete it now before I'm on it next, but has anyone got the point for the daily called 'Wash for 20 seconds' or something similar, to do a clean lap of any rivals event? I've done a clean lap of the monthly rivals and a regular rivals, and I haven't had the point. I'm not sure why, unless it's broken. I've got enough points anyway, but I'm 6/7 on the dailys.

The 'arcade' sections are still crap. I got into one and there were 2 of us with a target of many more people. No idea when I'll actually complete one!
I got onto a Drift Arcade and a normal Arcade lastnight, there were 2 of us on the drift run, and I messed it up by missing the finish gate and getting a fail hehe oops. Then a bunch of us on the normal one. Drifting was on a long course on the right of the map, the normal one was wrecking stuff, then hitting pinatas in the fields, then wrecking stuff around the stadium. When I did the normal one, there was a drift one at the same time.

I've done enough seasonal stuff to get the AMG One. One thing that's different from FH4 is the street races can be in daylight now, I did one and it was evening/sunset time. This was better as I could see the traffic cars instead of looking for the red or white lights on the dark roads as it was. For the tarmac races in this season, it's better to run the rally tyres as the races will probably be wet or stormy.

I think the off-road racing is very dependant on car tune/setup. I have really struggled at my usual difficulty level. I ran a seasonal series last night with a tube downloaded from someone else, and crushed it.
I did a dirt race and was getting nowhere. Reset the race and went to photo mode, I saw that the others were on full off-road tyres and I had rally tyres. Switched to off-road tyres and all was fine.

Wonder if that's why I'm struggling then, I always use to storm these on FH4 but nowhere near on FH5 and was finding the car just flying wide and spinning everywhere

Will have a play later with setup
The tyres are called different things in FH5 with the new tyres for off-road, snow and whatever. By rally I mean the off-road tyres that look like treaded tyres, by off-road I mean the race off-road with the chunky treads.

Which car have people used for the seasonal speed zone?

Tried the Nissan GT-R, 720S and Ford GT and I’m 1mph short.

I am finding the seasonal challenges much trickier than in 4
I did it with a Ford GT. Can't remember all the mods I had on it but it had Forza aero set up high in the tuning. Is it a dirt road zone? If it is I probably ran rally tyres, 4wd and gearbox upgrade. Getting the corner speed up did it for me.

Is it me or are the drifting courses easier on FH5 then on FH4?

As i found the FH4 ones incredible difficult to 3 stars

or is it just me? hehe
Yep I have three stared all of them in a Skyline with a storefront tune. I sucked at FH4 drifting.
Same here, I was rubbish at FH4 drifting, I've got 3 stars in FH5 a few times now.

What's going on with the Mustang/10 stars on PR stunts/treasure chest weekly task in the seasonal? I select it and it shows the map moving to the south west with no symbols or anything showing.

Seasonal stuff sorted for this week. I just got the Trueno from getting to the 3rd round of an arcade. A drifting arcade, in the #25 RTR Mustang. On my own with minutes to spare too. I'm not complaining about the change in drifting, but it is very very easy to do it now, mostly. I entered an Open drifting event to get the 3 ultimate drifts in an event, I was still way off the others in the scoreboard, but I got the 3 ultimate drifts done.

The game freezing when you upgrade the car is a pain since the update, I hope they fix that soon. There's an event for A class Classic Sports Cars, the standard ones are all between D and high C or low B class (I think), so I didn't bother doing that one without being able to upgrade the cars. I haven't tried it but does buying a tune still work?

After thinking things were good for fh5 drifting, the extra accolade stuff for drifting on the ice in the stadium is a pain. Anyone else got any tips on a car and setup? One of them is for 5 drift skills in a minute, I'm not sure whether that's meant to be anywhere on the ice, or inside the hockey(?) area in the middle. The other thing is what's the best way to bank 250k skills points in one go for the daily seasonal.

I'm in low 200's with the boards, leaving the awkward ones for another time and picking off the easy ones when I see them.

I got 50 points on the seasonals lastnight, apparently the treasure chest unlocking when you 3 star 3 trailblazers is borked, unless it's fixed today. When you do the trailblazers the area circle doesn't appear on the map and the chest doesn't spawn in. So don't count that if you want to get the 200 points for the SVJ at the end of the month.

Is there any plans on doing some club racing or is that not possible in fh5?
I think we're kinda sorta doing the monthly rivals for now, last month was the AMG One and now it's the Delorean.

What have you used to win the 70's car seasonal? I've tried a few cars and I'm either too slow on the straights or crap on the corners, haven't found a car with the right balance yet.

I tried again on the 70s seasonal using the GTR and still couldn't get it done, so I switched over to the Range Rover race and did that with a wide arched '73 RR and won it against a bunch of modern RR Sports. Then did the Trial with an NSX, the first time wasn't going to happen because the 6 blues went down to 3 in the first race and I got pushed wide of a checkpoint, I tried again second time around and won it, that got me to the 45 points. With a few other daily things done and an eliminator, I'm back on track to get the 200 for the season end. Phew.

Had another go at the 70s cars seasonal. No go. I did do a Tour in a VW Type 2 camper for the daily point though. I tuned one to A800 and waited for an Anything Goes A class road course tour. (The tour refreshes every few minutes, if you go in and it doesn't suit, wait for the next one, if you set up your bus to A or S1, a tour to suit should come up after a few cycles. Tour races are a lot easier than the Trail races against 'unbeatable' AI.)

Seasonal bt championship. I have a Bentley tune that appears to be highly effective if needed.
For the GT cars? I had an F type in my garage, modded it with tyres suspension and a bit of engine to get it to the top of the PI.
