I seem to be missing from the combined championship results.

Fixed, I was cutting and pasting from the 2 seperate lists, I was so careful in getting everyone in the right order I missed one of the easy ones to place

You changed your racing name, that's why.

I will amend it.

I think I had better get practising... I haven't done enna for ages. I'm wondering if I should spend some time with the 550 - I think that I am going about as fast as I can in the C5R and that I'm mostly losing out to the faster guys because my car is inherently slower... I don't like the 550's engine though.

Saleen? Lister? Maybe the Murkylager they are all pretty close on top speed to the 550.

Anyway I thought you had moved to the NGT's?

PS - Anyone want something different to the pit arrow there's these pit guys you can have instead. I have never tried them so don't know how to make them work or. GTRManager installable.

If you try it let us know what you think of it and if it might be better for use in the racing pitstops instead of the arrow.

Anyway I'm off to practice Enna.

Argh... I've tried the C5R, the 550, the 575 and the Lambo, Can't get anywhere near 1:32.xx... I suspect I need to be faster through the chicanes. The C5R handles the kerbs much more easily and is much easier to drive (its more adjustable through corners with the throttle), the 550 is just a bit too twitchy I find. Its very fast though. I think this is just one of the tracks where I will lose out in the C5R because of its slight lack of power...

Well, I hate to give away my secret, but I downloaded a setup off the internet then just tweaked it slightly, as a result the 550 absolutely flies on the straights.

I also tried all that... but I don't think a setup can gain you 5 seconds a lap for make the 550 a fun car to drive.

the secret at enna seems to be the 2 chicanes - the first one claims to be a 2nd gear corner, but you can cut it in 4th, and make up loads of time.

Similarly the racing line (by that I mean the line all the computer cars take) through the second chicane is not the fastest line, you can take it miles faster by straightlining it instead of turning through it.

I'm still 2 or 3 seconds off FWD's pace, but I'm not too bothered about that.

4th?

Using the revs of the V12 F550 I'm 2nd through the first left right, then 3rd through the next right, down to 2nd throught the next right left onto the 1st long straight, then 3rd throught the tyre chicane keep it in 3rd thoughout then exit again, 3rd through the 2nd tyre chicance and 3rd throught the last chicane onto the start finish straight.

I didn't get to practice yesterday, must do it today since it's raining here.

I'm on tippy-toes in second, even the slightest amount of throttle gets me spinning out.

thinks: maybe that's why they call the car a 360

I'm in 3rd for both the car killing chicanes too There is a definate technique for the 2nd tyre-chicane that gains you loads of time... not enough though

Wow I'm really struggling trying to remember how to drive these cars. Best I can do so far is 1:44 in the GT3

Anyone around for a fun sprint tonight?

I might be able to make a race tonight.
I really need to practice Enna, I've never even seen the track until I tried a quick practice session this afternoon. I have to say, so far I'm not impressed.

could come after 9pm possibly... how about an enna practise session but online? Or do people want to actually race?

A practice session would be fine by me, I'll check back here after TG to see what's happening.
