I thought you must have been taking it easy, was catching you quite comfortably by pushing hard everywhere except the 2 fast chicanes. Unfortunately I was spinning every few laps and wasting all the time I'd made up... Slowed right down once you'd gone off though as I already had a huge lead over the next person.
Yes it's true, lap 4 was 17 minutes (15 of those exploring the possibility of tunneling to the pits !!)
I knew that it would be hard enough to finish so thought that’s as long as I could move (all be it max 1mph) I would keep going. By the time I got back to the pits and repaired the splitter, aero, suspension and puncture I was 9 laps down so just took it easy and finished the race.

Yes I watched that from the pits as my crew were repairing splitter, suspension and punctures after harpooning a Ferrari that was already in pieces hiding behind one of the tyre chicanes. The smoke filled my view for a couple of minutes and I did laugh
UNfortunately my laughter stopped when I forgot to hit the pit limiter and had a stop go penalty when exiting - doh.
When I finally started racing properly I was 3 laps down but going steady as people were dropping out. Then I had the 10fps bug and gave up.
What a game GTR isn't
