Just tried the 962 at Spa after the earlier comments about it, omg it’s horrible!
The GTR Nismo GT500 ‘16 is so much more nimble around there, I’m about 3 seconds faster per lap too.
In the GTR I can have a decent lead growing by lap 5, in the 962 I was only just getting past 1st.

I think there are 39 menus, don’t buy many cars until you’ve done them as you’ll win most of what you need

For a month or more now I’ve been in a rut where I am literally doing Spa or Le Mans, and just building up cash as there isn’t many cars I want now. There are still a lot I don’t have, but nothing takes my fancy.
I was up to about 30m until the McLaren F1 appeared so I grabbed that and now back to about 13.
I enjoy those 2 races, so it’s nice to spend an hour on it, but even then I win every time and there isn’t much of a challenge.
I’ve run out of steam a bit with liveries, but do still love making them. The problem is finding ones to make that haven’t already been done dozens of times already.
I still have some circuit experiences and missions to do, maybe I’ll get back into those at some point.

What car do people use for Spa? I’ve found the best to be the ‘16 GT-R Nismo GT500, on RH tyres I’m lapping around 1.12.3xx at best

Go into the GT Auto page where you choose wheels and click on editor, then open livery and apply it.
First you have to find one in the showcase and add it to your collection, then it will appear in the selection where you choose and apply one

I never change the fuel map on the GT500, by the time you need fuel you need wets any way, or on the rare occasion it doesn’t rain enough I’ll just carry on with the tyres and get fuel only. Even with two tyre and or fuel stops you can still finish a lap ahead

I’m still doing the spa race, and randomly picking one of the dozens of cars I never use to just go and stick on a body kit, paint and some wheels to make it look better. Apart from that I don’t really do a lot else.
I don’t have the spare time for liveries now, so stopped those too.

I just got the Delta engine swap from the new menu, I only had to buy the newer RX7 to complete it.
946bhp in the Delta is so much fun!
The only other swap I want now is the M3, I was lucky enough to win the 787b one ages ago.

Is there a pattern for the heritage cars to arrive, I am looking for the Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 DTM but have never seen it on there.

Thanks
It was on there in the first week the game was released, it has appeared again once more since, so will be coming round again at some point

Load game, go into additional collections
Choose number 1, open the video so it goes full screen then back out of it
Go to the garage and collect that ticket prize
Go back to menus and choose the 3rd one, open video full screen and back out
Go to garage and claim engine prize
Rinse and repeat. Alternate between 1 and 3, collect each prize as you get it.
No need to restart the game at all. If the prize doesn’t come up after a few goes I usually find it’s because I’m trying to collect the same one twice in a row, get the other and it should work again, or restart game

Even better then! The ones I read all said to collect them individually. I’ll give it a try together

Or if its anything like GT Sport, gifted cars will have zero value when you sell them

I’ve only had one genuine win of an engine too, and have been playing since release day. It does make you wonder if we would have ever managed to get all engine swaps without the glitch, I think it would have been as good as impossible

I love the 918, perfect for the Le Mans 30 mins race, just a shame it can barely get 2 laps out of the tank!

All I seem to do now is turn it on and do a race at Le Mand or Spa messing around with different cars.
I’m also working through modifying every car and fully equipping them too.
I make the odd livery still when I get time, but apart from that I don’t really play it much.
I think I’m up to about 23m in the bank, occasionally buying legendary cars I wanted and missed when they first came round.
I’ve not seen anything in the 2nd hand cars I’ve not got for ages

Update 1.21, seems to break more things than it fixes!

Other Improvements and Adjustments

1.Missions
- Fixed an issue wherein the tire wear speed was too fast and made it difficult to clear “Bathurst Gr.3 Battle” in [Missions] > [The Sun Also Rises].

2.License Centre
- Fixed an issue wherein gameplay could no longer be progressed after fast-forwarding to the next lap during playback of some of the license demonstration videos.

The following is a list of known issues for Gran Turismo 7.

Sport & Lobby
 - When doing Free Practices on the 'Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Rally Cross Layout,' stopping the car by using the handbrake and then pausing the game with the controller's 'options' button, the car will not move afterwards. This issue can be fixed by selecting 'Exit' from the pause menu and re-entering the track.

Garage
 - Changing the muffler from the 'Intake & Exhaust' category in 'Garage' > 'Car Settings' may cause the muffler on the car to disappear. If this issue occurs, it can be resolved by re-entering the 'Garage.'

Multiplayer
 - In the 'Lobby', there have been cases where ‘Preparing’ is displayed on screen but the Host cannot start the race. Having all room members leave and re-entering the room will allow the race to be started;
 - In the 'Lobby', there have been cases where entering the track in Practice does not let you drive and skip directly to the Final Race. In this case, please try to leave and re-enter the room;
 - In a '2P Split Screen' race, the Assist Settings for Player 2 are locked. We plan to fix this in a future update. (Player 1 will use the same Assist Settings as defined in [Settings] > [Assist Settings]);
 - In the ‘Lobby’, there have been cases where players in the same room do not appear on the member list or during the race. In this case, an application error will occur when the host starts the race;
 - In the 'Lobby', there have been cases wherein completing a race would not let users progress further.

Other
 - There have been cases wherein the App hangs during the loading screen at start-up, and rare cases wherein the App crashes when entering certain race events. Deleting and re-installing 'Gran Turismo 7' might fix those issues. Please note that any Replays, Scapes Photos, and Race Photos that have not been shared in 'Showcase' will be lost after uninstalling the game. (Only Replays up to 200MB in size can be shared.)

Those issues are planned to be solved with a future update.

I’ve done the Le Mans race with loads of cars now, one of the best is easily the RX7 with 787B engine swap.
Tons of power, hardly any fuel usage and stupid speeds on the straight!

Spa 1 hour race is also an excellent money maker, and will make more money than doing Le Mans twice
