So saw a few had gone quicker than me on the ring so goal was to get back to first oh boy did I manage to do that.
And that was far from optimal think a 6.30 flat is possible. Over to you lot now.
Solid lap that! You made me go back and have another pass at it and managed to sneak ahead again albeit with quite a few errors. And that was far from optimal think a 6.30 flat is possible. Over to you lot now.
There’s something about this car that I just can’t get comfortable with. Sometimes it feels pretty good then on some sections it just feels awful. I’ve always liked driving the Ring on the GT games but can’t say I enjoy using M6 to navigate it.
I had another case of strange driving by the AI this morning on the touring car 800 at Le Mans on the very first lap. About 5 or 6 cars ahead of me going into Tertre Rouge, a yellow Subaru WRX STI is facing the opposite way in the grass on the right hand side of the track.
On checking the replay post race he ran too wide on the kerb then looks to have slammed on to avoid track limits and lost it putting it into the middle of the track. The car behind just plowed straight into him. It looked more like a human driver error than AI.
I can't wait until they introduce the Sophy AI and hopefully it puts an end to this steamrolling by the AI where they refuse to avoid contact.

Anyone figured out what that third car, bottom left is yet? I've not seen anything convincing about what it is.
Lots of chat about it being a C3 Corvette convertible, but I'm not sure of that.
I can't even tell if it's old or modern. It's definitely FR, I thought it might be a 57 Testarossa and you just can't see the hump behind the driver, but I doubt that too. Thought maybe a Daytona convertible at some point too
It's the lowness of the windscreen and the lighting around the front wheelarches I just can't get my head around.

Have you watched the Sophy AI vs pro GT players races? Let's hope they give us a slider for how fast the AI is, else we'll all be grinding for credits by finishing 20th MCBrowncoat said:

ETA. Having said that, the more exposed image above does show more details that seem off.

Obviously I’m grumpy but really wish GT would just ditch the concepts and focus on either improving the game or giving us a whole list of great back catalogue.
I do agree, the listany of "Vision concept" cars that all look broadly the bloody same are a bit bloody pointless. Still, is it better or worse than 56 different "Euro (V) III J-Spec (M)" varieties of R32/MX-5/RX7 etc in the older games? I'd happily pay extra to have them remove 90% of the European and American cars to have 30 different versions of Civic's, Evo's, etc. Whenever I'm forced into some miserable non-Japanese car it just feels like a chore which isn't what games should be, if I wanted all sorts of Euro-tedium I'd play Forza.
I agree and would love it if they brought a lot of the Japanese boxes back and the VGT cars are probably the ones I use the least. Although, times have moved on and I doubt we will ever see as many of the Japanese car variants as we used to. They simply aren't as readily available as they once were and they were a lot easier to model and put into the game back then.
The main 'classics' will always be around R32/3/4 GT-R, RX-7, Supra etc but the lesser known models won't likely get a look in. I'd love it if they brought the Toyota Starlet Glanza V back as I used to own one many moons ago, but are they going to track down a mint condition slightly spicy compact car from 1996 that has a tiny fraction of a fanbase as the Skyline has and then fully model it inside and out? Not happening.

The new update has completely ruined the force feedback on a number of wheels, as in there is barely any even on maximum settings. The cars feel very light and floaty, you can't tell what the wheels are doing at all.
It's crazy that they approved this patch for release without proper testing.
