3/10ths off gold and I can't get close to my own time now. It's not a car that can be driven with a pad. I'd go as far as to say it's a complete pile
Yeah I’m a pad user and feel it’s tricky to extract the most out of certain cars.

Been having some great results on the daily races. Think I won 5 straight races at Watkins Glen at one point but now I’ve been placed in with the big boys and finding the pace absolutely relentless. I swear some of them are robots they just don’t make any mistakes and take the perfect line every single lap. One of them I somehow managed to come 5th and that felt like a win laugh

I've only had one crack at Watkins Glen, got a couple of not very fast laps in to quali, started 8th on the grid and got upto 3rd then just ran out of time to catch 2nd. Done a couple of the MX5 races and managed a win in both of those. Definitely doesn't seem like there's that many people doing the daily races at the moment though the difference in ratings for the races I've done ha e been huge

Agreed on both. Didn’t spend too long on it but was amazed how much time could be gained just by unloading the steering slightly earlier.

Just got ahead of you in time wise certainly a tricky car to drive.

Manufactures series completed managed to sneak a victory at suzuka by 0.10 after the leader for a 3s pen coming out of the pits managed to get past and hold for the lead on a no stop which worked out. So managed 3 wins and a third this season in the genesis so see where I finish in the rankings was 5th in AS class but last race gained 210 points highest total so far.

Is there a pattern for the heritage cars to arrive, I am looking for the Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93 DTM but have never seen it on there.

Thanks

Was that the last race in the Manufacturer series? If so I am glad because I stupidly chose the Ferrari. Best in any of the races was 6th for me which I could achieve frequently with a pad in the C/S division but I could never do better.

I might choose Porsche next as I love how the GT3 drives but at the moment the BMW M6 seems the better car for online races.

It was on there in the first week the game was released, it has appeared again once more since, so will be coming round again at some point

I know pad users in the mid 1:40 range, but they're on PS5. They tell me the feedback on the brakes is a game changer because you can actually feel the optimum braking point. Meanwhile, on the old PS4, I've got an opt. in the 1:41.7s now, but I cannot do the lap yet.

Yea last one genesis was a solid pick Monza was a poor race for gr4 and not the best gr3 at Daytona but overall a decent manufacture. See where I finish tomorrow.

So a couple of weeks away from the game and had to play again because of this engine swap glitch!

I won three - one of which was the BRZ drift car LS7 for the Silvia Q's which is he-he-hilarious laugh I hit 305mph round Route X in it earlier

But I'm having trouble replicating it every time, despite watching a couple of videos. Is there a trick to it I'm missing? Coming out of the menu pretty quick? Can't figure it out.

Load game, go into additional collections
Choose number 1, open the video so it goes full screen then back out of it
Go to the garage and collect that ticket prize
Go back to menus and choose the 3rd one, open video full screen and back out
Go to garage and claim engine prize
Rinse and repeat. Alternate between 1 and 3, collect each prize as you get it.
No need to restart the game at all. If the prize doesn’t come up after a few goes I usually find it’s because I’m trying to collect the same one twice in a row, get the other and it should work again, or restart game

Aaah I think I get it, that video I watched I seemed to think you had to go open both videos and come out, then go get the prize.

Thanks I'll try this later!

You claim each prize one by one?

I just go to Additional Collections, click on collection 1 twice to go to full screen and immediately back out, then to the same with collection 3, then go and collect both prizes together.

Even better then! The ones I read all said to collect them individually. I’ll give it a try together

Yep, that worked, thanks both!

First engine was the 787b! Woohoo

And I can scarcely believe this, but the four star ticket was also an engine! For the first time ever that has happened for me. Absolutely typical laugh

Quick go on the new daily at Interlagos.

Was having a great battle all race, lost the lead on the last lap then timed the slip stream out of the last corner to perfection.

Don’t think I’ve had a closer finish for the win before smile

I've had it a couple of times where the 4 star ticket was an engine - and I got the same engine as the 6 star ticket!

That happened to me on the initial rewards, so I'm very grateful for the glitch!

And if you go into the Honda one, you get another group b nsx too.

I've got 11 now. Once they allow us to sell cars, that will be a a decent chunk of change. It doesn't seem to glitch out, so you can keep doing it. You could stockpile hundreds of them...
