Always best to start using manual from day one, then you never have to convert later

I’m at work at the mo so can’t check, which exactly it was, but I managed to grab a 997 GT3 2nd hand I think, definitely a 911 of some sort, and also a Tommy Mac Evo that I couldn’t resist.
There was a Renault 5 Maxi but I wasn’t tempted enough.

The Yaris that came free has been handy in a few races, and is much better to drive that the one in Sport.
Has anyone got any tuning parts on the wheel of misfortune?
I’ve had 3 or 4 small amounts of cash, and some high lift cans for an Audi TT that I don’t own yet!
I’ve unlocked the extreme section in the tuning shop, and was hoping the wide body stuff would be in there but it’s not.
Anyone know where it is?

Going right back to GT1 I had always used X and square for brake/accelerate, it wasn’t until GTA5 came out that I swapped to using the triggers instead!
As for a wheel, I had one in the past and found I was just as quick with the pad, so hardly used to bother getting it out.
I guess it’s just what I’ve got used to over far too many years

ETA: I know that ultimately the wheel is quicker, and part of me wants to try another one!

SpudLink said:
Bit disappointed the GT Auto mods are only cosmetic. I was hoping the wings would help the aero.
The widebody conversion increases PP, so must be having an effect of some sort

I’m on Pro, and was getting frustrated at not being able to get a PS5 as I refused to pay over the odds to fund someone’s greed.
I only really play GT these days, and to be honest I’m so impressed with it on the Pro I don’t think I’ll bother with a 5 now until they’re easily available

I think the best thing to do regarding music rally is totally ignore that it’s there!

Found another bug, I did the first mission test on Deep forest and got 23.350 which put me 3rd on the score board amongst friends rankings.
I then did 22.968 which should have put me first, but the score board isn’t updating to show improved times

There’s a lot of issues with the livery editor at the moment, it annoys me a lot as I loved recreating liveries on Sport, and had done tons!
5 years worth of collecting other peoples decals are gone unless each person starts playing 7 and then chooses to reshare them.
I would imagine that a lot of the older decals will be lost if that player no longer has an interest.
They originally said non shared would transfer too, but that doesn’t seem to have happened.
Also, on liveries that swap over, the actual decals haven’t, just the size, colour and location, so they have to be reuploaded to appear!
There is currently a limit of 100 uploads, and when you upload 101 it causes 1 to disappear, so only the latest 100.
To apply old liveries from Sport you have to do this:
1. Make sure GT7 Account = GTS Account
2. Take the car you want to import a livery for
3. Go to GTauto
4. Go to the livery editor
5. Click "Open Design"
6. Choose the one to import.

I’ve not tried it yet as I don’t have the cars in 7.
It’s going to be a long time until I can use my liveries as I can’t afford the cars needed!
What a mess frown
I think I’ll ignore liveries and decals until they get some patches sorted.

I’ve mostly had the smaller cash amounts, apart from my TT cams, and I think I got the Hellcat safety car on it!
I couldn’t resist buying the Alfa 155 last night, so that’s half the 25th anniversary credits gone on something I’ll hardly ever use laugh
My Tommi Makinen Evo is nearly fully modded now, definitely will get s lot of use out of that one, it’s easily my current favourite

The only ones I bought out of the 38 I own are the Tommi Evo, 155, and a 997 GT3. Oh, and the Aqua!

The thing I’ve noticed that takes the longest is when you’ve made changes in GT Auto, it seems to take forever to apply them when you exit.

I’m starting to wonder if I should get another wheel, I had a Logitech G29 last time, are they still considered good, or is there now a better one?
I don’t want to spend a fortune and that’s got 20% off on Amazon

I was impressed with my G29, and for £239 it’s a bargain.
I certainly couldn’t afford or justify a DD Pro as much as I’d love one!

It does, I visited once and the bloke popped up saying you’ll be pleased to know I’ve got new stock.
A few cars had changed.
I’ve also visited and noticed different cars without him saying so too.

Currently driving myself crazy on IB7 test in the Taycan, what a horrible thing to drive. Only 0.047 away from gold and it’s doing my head in!

Edit: just got gold by 0.040! I won’t bother trying to better that one.

Excellent work!
I want to change my Evo to white, so got to recreate the Tommi stripes, I think I’ll have a go at making some as decals and do it properly
