Sorry for the abrupt exit there chaps, my internet dropped.

Just as the standings were about to be announced too - I was on the edge of my seat wondering if my cheeky 6th place has troubled the top of the order? wink

Mid carnage
Is that turn 1, race 1 Norbs ? For once I think it went quite clean. For me at least there was very little contact, noone knocked off line or off-track. Just a bit of door handle touching. Which got me a 5 sec penalty ?! Were pens on strong - every slight brush of the wall got me a 1,5 sec pen ?! Anyhow race 1 was going reasonably OK apart from penaltying myself out of position. Caught Ian at the end of the final lap and it was looking like a close finish heading to the line, but Ian clouted the wall out of the fast left. I had nowhere to go but into the back of him frown Cost Ian a 5 sec pen and 3 positions. Cost me 2 positions as it gave Norbs and Dan time to catch and overtake. Race 3 was another battle for me to keep out of the wall - but I thought the idea was reverse grid ?
Got my replays to watch later.

Pens on the same but there has been adjustments made for them it's the same in the daily races pretty annoying. Also a glitch that gives you a pen when coming out of the pits during a race hence not doing pit stops. Only thing with reverse grid is if people know it's on then if you don't do any laps you will start on first so end up with no one doing laps and be whoever enters race last.

Sorry for confusion in race 3 with the lobby I messed up on it so apologies for that.
Ferry if you believe that good I'm not debating anymore others have watched it and don't see what the fuss is about also one last thing I had zero pens in race 1 so hardly a punt now was it otherwise I would be picked up on it.

Race 2 looked a photo finish for 4th-7th mighty close on that.
Race 3 what a roller coaster ride ended up last from 1st had to relearn braking points as felt like they changed from race 1? Anyone else noticed that. But had a great recovery drive to third which was happy with that along with first in race one far better week that last week.

Looking at points Dan scored the most however as he's not racing he said to pass it to 2nd who is norbs as he took Joker points so norbs upto you to chose car for next week.

Josh I've sent you points race positions Joker points and BP on psn chat me norbs went through them so just double check with points when you get them before updating table.

Apart from that thanks everyone for joining last night and see you all for rd3.

I didn't drive offline, I was hit there. I don't know anyone who would be happy to be overtaken like that. It's dubious at best.
Maybe if I'd let the car go into the wall it would have penalised you?

Race 3 pole gets turned into back of grid. I didn't even do a qually lap in the new lobby as didn't know I had to.

From my reply there was no 2nd contact and you did run wide the corner before that giving me the run. There was also 2 other times I had at least a nose Infront when you cut across me. Race 3 is one lap quali fastest first it was same as race 3 last week. New lobby resets everything I can't physically help that.

Did you save the replay Ferry? I watched some of the moments back where I thought I had been screwed over and it looked very different to how it felt in the heat of battle. Some of the moves were still pretty ropey, but some of them were closer to 50:50 than it felt at the time.

I had a look at some of the moments you are mentioning and to me they probably don't look as bad as I imagine they felt to you while you were driving, in the same way as I felt with the ones that happened to me.

Will let people know the car for next week ASAP

If you could post up the two times you had a nose infront and I cut across you that would be helpful. Even just a lap/corner reference.

If everything was reset, it would have been good to know qually was needed again and the pole from the aborted one didn't count.

I did save it, yes. And watched things from various cars and views. On my replay it's clear. I am not ruling out different replays showing different things. Weirdly the replays default to track layout view on the MFD, rather than the radar which is what I have on.

I also looked at the thing Luke raised and as I said last night, I didn't "cut hard right".

I also noted from the replay people running roll cages, different size wheels etc., but that's a different issue.

And, yes, grip levels in lobbies are variable.

I’m not involved in this championship but like to keep tabs on how people get on etc.

For the most part it sounds like everyone is enjoying it and Chris is doing a great job on organising things for everyone.

It seems like it’s only one person that has something to moan about each and every week. Meant to be fun isn’t it?

Doesn't this make you want to get involved French? hehe

As much as there's a bit of drama, it's nice that there's a good battle on for the lead of the race. I would say that there's probably a good 5 or 6 people who have the speed to win any race. Only shame is that i'm not one of them hehe

I’m not sure I’m ready for the ensuing fall out if I were to accidentally push someone a bit wide.

I know my license times may suggest otherwise, but I am only human and prone to making the odd error here and there. It feels like there is already enough drama currently biggrin

Then you will fit right in! I have spun myself off in 3 of the first 4 championship races bowtie

In terms of the car for next week, I have an idea. Will try and test it later on. I will probably still manage to spin it off in typical Norbury fashion though

The slight difference in car behaviour one from lobby to lobby always makes things a bit more interesting when you're making a late braking manoeuvre for added entertainment.
