Hang on I knew it didn't make sense, I've googled a bit.
It's "Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, a 2017 action-adventure game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is a standalone expansion pack following Dishonored 2".
Death of the Outsider is indeed a standalone DLC of Dishonored 2. It is excellent and really worth playing. It's "Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, a 2017 action-adventure game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. I'm surprised they haven't offered Dishonored 2 first though
Personally I would get it but not play it until you have played Dishonored 2. Not because it is a vital requirement or anything, just for the flavour and continuity.

For fans of Deathloop, Death of the Outsider can be considered a prequel (.. of sorts).

Ah cool. I thought it was the first Dishonored. For fans of Deathloop, Death of the Outsider can be considered a prequel (.. of sorts).
I can't see how it's connected to Deathloop though, other than the fact they are both First Person games from Arkane Studios

There are are apparently a couple of artifacts that reference DotO and some references in a song. It's meant to be set in a possible future (not necessarily THE future) of that game. They could just have been jokey little easter eggs for fans of Arkane games but ..I can't see how it's connected to Deathloop though, other than the fact they are both First Person games from Arkane Studios
.. The game director confirmed it: https://gamerant.com/deathloop-dishonored-death-ou...

Just to add - Dishonored 2 (on the GOG store) was actually a Prime Game giveaway and is still open (until tomorrow 31st Jan) so if you have an Amazon Prime account, get it quick if you haven't done so already...

Death Stranding is the free game again, if you missed it the first time around earlier in the year.
edit: Also, just a reminder to anyone considering the "50% off the Director's Cut" offer, you can upgrade from the free standard version to the Director's Cut for £8.99 anyway. So don't pay more than that.

Sadly I own that game several times over already (bought the original, then later on the Redux in a sale, then later on again got it for free from GoG I think)Great game though; I love the Metro series.

Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition (comes with 8 DLC) today.
Now there's a rabbit hole to go down with mods etc. And it is a game that not only has a metric arseload of mods but also needs them. Especially the updated textures & models etc.
I'm not sure how many hours I have put into this game over the years.
(edit: Steam says 314 hours, but that's only how long I've played it on Steam. I'm pretty sure I originally bought it on DVD which was DRM-locked by Microsoft's long-dead servers)
