GTR league finale Monday night

Donington, come one, come all. This is the final race of the current season.
After this we will be looking at doing single make Cup races, either Escorts, Single make Porsche/TVR/Corvettes/Morgans or Saleens Cups (the add-ons you download that give loads of different car skins) or due out any day now the McLaren Cup. :yes: :)
As for tomorrow nights race I'm going to be racing a Morgan NGT car :D

Bloody hell, moving to NGT for the last in the season! I suppose with the championship victory cemented already, it matters not a jot what you drive!

I don't know. There was no indication of that when I launched the server. I uninstalled GTR from my home machine, due to my frustration with the lack of support from SimBin in regards to dedicated server hosting. I only kept it on the server for your league. Anyway, sorry you weren't able to use it. I hope everything worked out.
Sammie, the SimBin multiplayer code is utter utter rubbish, I don't blame you for uninstalling, last night I wanted to throw my PC out the window!
We managed to have two seperate races in the end, so no harm done.
Right up until I crashed out, ours was quite a good one too, with myself, PetrolVapour and Michael Cowley running at very similar speeds.
I even managed to make my tyres last almost 20 minutes!

My PC kept freezing whilst I was trying to qualify - hence the trips into the barrier.
I decided to call it a day then.
Found out afterward Norton was trying to download updates in the background
Must remember to turn live update off when trying to race......... DOH!!

MJ402 and I had a pretty close race in the NGT class. We can't have been more than 20 secs apart for most of the race with each of us taking turns to be 2nd and 3rd whilst FWD raced off into the distance.
After qualifying it was obvious FWD would zoom off so I chose to do a very careful 40 minute stint followed by a 20 minute 'barnstormer' hoping that I would be temporarily in the lead when FWD came in for his pitstop
However, he managed to get about 1:20 in the lead so was able to pit and then get out about 15 secs before me - drat!
Luckily for me the Morgans engine went BOOM on FWD and I won by default in the reliable old Porker - Hurrah

reckon a good 4 way battle would have been on the cards........ Liked the Corvette but not as quick as the 550 round Donny, but Barcelona I find it is
Master Yoda (FWD) - I dont like the 60min races, low attention threshold, special needs an all that, you know........ can we make them shorter and maybe have two? I think there are a few of us now wanting shorter races.........

I thought turning the rev limit up on the Morgan might be a bit dodgy.
