Was reading nearly 200k players have stopped playing. It is weird how they made things so complicated for the sake of it.
Are they just off playing God of War ?

I'm finding myself playing DMZ over and over again - just because there are missions to complete.

I think it's my OCD.

I was absolutely loving 3rd person mode. Then they took it away.

I've been enjoying playing DMZ as a team of 3. So much better with communication and a proper team, just no good with random team mates. Although it's very annoying getting wiped out at the extraction point!

The number of other players treating this as their mission is getting on my nerves.

Although the number of folk saying truce and letting both teams crack on has been nice.

Yeah there have been a couple of occasions were someone has C4'ed or mined the extract and has stayed there waiting for someone. Must be a boring way to play the game.

Tried the truce thing but no one has gone for it yet.

They really need to do some basic mission matching, otherwise you're reliant on people being nice, and not just helping others with fking Stronghold keycards all the time. Going off on your own just doesn't work as the AI can be STUPIDLY OP and you can get downed with a single shot with full plates.

yeah single player in dmz is basically impossible you cant do any of the missions where helicopters come after you as you cant drive and shoot, you cant revive in SP unless you fine an uber rare self revive kit

yet i cant play in a team as i dont have a headset and honestly id rather not

Its quite nice when you do come across someone helpful. Yesterday I zipped off on my own as I had no desire to do yet another Stronghold and got one hit killed by an AI that smoked a building I was in 7 times. (yes, 7) Some softly spoken Irish chap tempered my swearyness and from half way across the map came and revived me (I normally quit if teams are split up) and helped me up, helped me do my 1 task to unlock a boat shack and then we went and did a couple of missions that he had.

It was good smile

We tend to opt for a tactical exit (having been wiped out a couple of times at exfil). The other day I hid behind a rock and my mate was "bait". Three people tried and died... We then exfil.... We also had someone try to run him over - shame I had an RPG...... Funniest however was the bloke who ran over to shoot us but the chopper landed on him and splat..... We robbed his corpse as we got on the chopper.

BUT when we get to an Exfil and someone is there, we stand back and let them leave, then call in the chopper. No need to be a twit about it IMHO.

If anyone wants to team up I'm yazza54 on playstation

I have some good moments but I'm mostly just ..Ok hehe

Finding it difficult playing with randoms, I didn't used to like talking to strangers on the old Warzone but I feel like on this new one it's a bit impossible to do well if you aren't communicating. Because of that I've just been playing multiplayer the last few times.

DMZ can be pretty tough Solo, just started playing, Glad BR is available from Solo's to Quads now so starting to see some more of the map. I'll always love Verdansk, probably because we knew it so well, but this is a massive step on from Caldera which I thought was pants.

You can get a revive pistol as well and have multiples of each. Usually 7.5k at the buy station and you keep one on you if you ex-fil successfully.

The cargo missions are pretty easy solo, although less so in the boat. They shoot ahead of you so when they stop shooting drive at a slight angle, then when the bullets appear infront of you, go back to the correct course.

The main problem solo is when a team pops up near you and you cant get away, but if you have a way to self revive and plates, then you can give it a go.

When possible, get an LTV as the armour and large rear plate helps you alot to not get shot.

I’m finding warzone 2 a bit more fun than the previous version although squads of ransoms that just spring t away & do their own thing is a bit annoying. Anyone on regularly looking to squad up ?

Think I’ve had it with wz2. I didn’t buy the multiplayer game, so ranking up a load out is limited to warzone games, and thus very very very slow.

I get insta-beamed by people I can’t even see. Can barely land a shot, let alone get a kill.

Time to hang up my m4 i reckon.

Iv moved to within a foot of the TV and suddenly I can spot these people beaming me. I still die, but at least I spot them now.

Why do people join quads etc to just run off by themselves? I don't get it. Many also don't speak, but I don't mind that if they ping and stay together. They don't though.

I'm just not really having this problem since switching to the new map... But one thing I have done is pushed my FOV right up to the max. Took a day or so to get used to it but now I can see a hell of a lot more going on. This is on PS5, assume the option is there on other consoles. This is one of the things that gave PC players an edge for so many years.
