What f*cks me off is that I appear to have paid £70 for a game that is clearly paying for the development on the cash cow that is the free to play sh*t which they appear to be focussing on and not the one I paid money for.

I thought that was obvious.

Wasn't obvious that subsequent MP seasons would be maps that we'd already had and withdrawn and rehashed old ones when I bought it. Also, saying it was obvious, doesn't make it something that's acceptable.

Ok speak with trading standards. The game is made for streamers.

That's why I got a refund on the game as I knew it wouldn't be maintained at all like the rest and I wouldn't play it once WZ2 was out. It would be good to level guns but its now worth £70

This new map seems that the end circle only finishes in 4 places.

Water, The castle, Beach resort or a garage near the centre.

TTK is just mental still and same guns ripping. Seems a bit easy to win as well.

I still play it but MW1 was a hundred times better in all game fronts, this is just poor, but there are no real alternatives. I might get hell let loose that is supposed to be good.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that I think the new warzone is better barring some annoying user interfaces that I wish they left alone. My problem is that I just seem to be teamed up with complete dheads all the time that either leave, don't play as a team, don't talk etc. For some reason all the people I played the old game with have ended up not having time to play anymore, I suppose that's because I got into it during COVID, but I still have the odd day/evening to myself ... But when I go online on my own its no fun now, apart from the very few instances where I've got a decent team of normal people who wanna play the game.

Yeah I couldn't stand WZ1 but I love this, much better flow, feels much more rewarding to play. Really enjoy the MW multiplayer, too. Maps are a bit so so but generally good!

I think actually players playing it is massively lower than first one. About 2 million player mw1 it is around 100k for mw2. Happy to proved wrong but clearly it isn't attracting gamers to play it.

Mw1 hit just as the world took a holiday from work and wasn't allowed to leave the house. They'll probably never be a more popular game launch again.

The numbers were 2 years after launch. This is how crazy mw2 is numbers wise. I think it was 70 million at launch.

90% of my time is spent on invasion, love it.

Not really a fan of WZ, although I’ve spent hundreds of hours on Pubg and loved that, WZ just doesn’t seem to click with me.

Haven’t tried DMZ

DMZ is worth trying. The issue with that is that unless you play with friends, and even then it has to be coordinated, you never have the same missions as anyone you play with if you go in with Randoms, and then 3 of you just run off in different directions and get downed at different sides of the map - at which point you might as well quit. What would have been better is matchmaking based on your selected missions.

Just find it's 99% people sniping from one end of the map to the other. Frustrating.

I feel the same. I love PUBG (even though I'm pretty crap) but this I feel I have just come to it too late in the day and I am so far behind everyone else. I get killed by people I don't see, I even find the menus a bit overwhelming!

I played a few games the other night with a mate and two of his mates (all of whom knew what they were doing) and we won our first game. Didn't enjoy it though. Hardly knew what was going on! Prefer the much slower pace of PUBG.

Other observation from me is that I kept getting killed and respawning. This seemed to defeat the object of a Battle Royale game for me. It seems that as the circle gets smaller it just turns into a TDM...?!

I was very good at pubg, sunk way to many hours into the game, when I tried warzone 1 I found that although I enjoy cod, I didn’t enjoy the gameplay of cod as a battle royale, the movement and aiming is too quick for it in my opinion, there’s not enough skill needed to pull off that long distance shot like there is with PUBG,

Also with PUBG, aside from experience there’s nothing a player with a hundred hours played has that a newcomer doesn’t, it’s just cosmetic unlocks, which I think was a very clever decision

Also the atmosphere/ sense of dread in pubg is levels above that of warzone.

Anyway cod, I’m enjoying the grind for camos, have 8 of the assaults in plat, currently working my way through the snipers

Your right. Somethings perfect with the impossible to aim recoil on pubg. You can get an intense 5 minute sqaud fight with people since absoloutely nobody can aim and you get snipe offs that last ages aswel haha its epic. Never spent more time on a game than pubg.
