And AI enemies suddenly spawn right behind you where there were none a few seconds ago, and if you see one walk behind the other end of a long wall, they vanish a few seconds later when you look down the other side.

Still love it though.

Yeah there are some strange things like I accidently dropped my insured weapon and couldn't pick it up again.

I only play multiplayer until the evening when my friends come online and we enjoy playing DMZ. I had an amazing game the other night where I single handedly took down 2 squads of 3 while reviving my mates who are normally better at the game than me. We even stole another teams exfil. My mates jumped in the side doors and immediately got chopped down. While they were looking through their bags I jumped on the back and killed all 3. I managed to revive one of the lads but there wasn't time to get the other.

Then we played a couple of games and got rinsed. I eventually managed to get a 3 plate vest and large backpack and we were on our way to do a mission when I got kicked out the game so had to listen to them playing while I restated with one plate vest and small pack. So frustrating.

Had an amusing one where two other guys were killed by an enemy squad of three. We revived them.. Then went hunting with them (thankfully they even used mics, a miracle of itself).. The "murders" were a bit surprised when a team of five arrived on location and opened up on them.....

Typical. Just found some gun oil in a toolbox in the cabin behind the Zarqwa Hydroelectric dead drop dumpster - two deployments on the trot.
The first time I exfild because there wasn't enough time to get to the shopping centre.
The second time, I parachuted into the shopping centre off the nearby mast but got overwhelmed by the AI.
Third time I looked - gone. st.

Have been trying to do a DMZ exfil with killstreaks and keep getting about 5 or 6 of 7 while my team mates run about like headless chickens. I have to go back and revive after they get slaughtered by AI several times.

Second to last match I had 6, no Comms so didn't know if teammates had killstreaks. One of them burned his lethals, tactical then a mortar strike in the exfil. Arrrgh.

Last round I had 6... did the safes. Team mate had the cash, went to a buy station. Wouldn't drop cash. Didn't buy killstreaks. Full retard mode.

And now my Mrs is fannying about as well. What is going on!? Must be the sun.

DMZ has been nearly unplayable this week. Servers updating coupled with kids on holiday has turned it into a glitch ridden PvP moshpit.

I'd love to see a server that requires an active mic. I understand that not everyone wants to talk but I find the game infinitely harder without communication.

I turn mics off, because you end up hearing people eating, breathing, having arguments and double sound.

Its when you start a round and the other players have the default missions... You know.

I got a squad after I posted with people who were a bit more savvy. They were on a regain, so we did strongholds, and picked up killstreaks from the buys as we went and all exfil with 3-plates, self revive and killstreaks. Really easy!!

At least 'gun oil' is appearing a bit more now. Managed eventually (after about 6 failed attempts at getting past the AI and tripwire bombs) to place the thing at the back of the shop in the shopping centre.

As in, if I just want to jump into a game and fanny about by myself rather than needing to rely on teamwork with randoms?

You can but you may struggle against some of the more difficult AI enemies and if you bump into an aggressive team they’ll kill you.

You can join a team mid game if they accept you. Best thing to do is to not shoot at a team and ask to join. Most will say yes but there will be the odd team who will just shoot you. I play with a team and we always accept random solos or other teams as long as they don’t shoot first

Same rules for us. If we shoot first we accept the plea, if nobody shoots we always accept.

I used to play solo more than anything but the game has changed over the last few months. AI are insanely tough and their distribution is beyond senseless. More teams are out solely to hunt and you see some really aggressive play as kitted up teams push the infils right from the off.

Season 3 has promised to improve Solo play with the addition of faction loyalty affecting AI behaviour. Fingers crossed.

No ammo boxes spawning, primary weapons not loading and every building in Port is a stronghold.

That said, game feels more balanced and the workbench/trade system is good.

I watch videos of old cod, like MW2 original and just think they were so much better than this tripe. I still play it, but really can't understand why they messed with a winning formula of MW1.

Iv noticed iv been less severely beamed lately. Maybe the new update and fear of a cronus zen ban that can now be detected has helped aliviate some of the cheaters. Iv went from 3/4 kills to 8/9 a game.

Less automatic drop shots, bunny hops etc has became less and less aswel. I can still do it with my elite controller. Hopefully they keep banning these devices.

Hopefully as you go up the ranked ladder the new account pc cheaters will start vanishing as the anti cheat picks them up aswel.
