Yes, there is. It's been true for the last couple of CoDs that all guns, not just snipers, use the projectile rather than hit scan system. I think this was fundamentally to allow for the Black Out / Warzone game modes. Hit scan snipers on a Warzone map would be pretty effective.Trustmeimadoctor said:

On PC I use the trigger button on the mouse to mark the three places i want the bombs to drop. Can't speak for consoles, but i would have thought the principle would be similar.Having levelled up the M16 and FTAC Recon, I've found the non-automatic guns to be nowhere near good enough. The FTAC is much better than the M16, but for me a battle rifle should be slow fire rate, high damage, high precision. The lack of precision at range make them pretty pointless. After the FTAC i switched to the Hurricane submachine gun and it was much easier to pick people off at range with that.
It'll be interesting to see what changes Season 1 brings, particularly to the attachments. The general consensus seems to be that for the vast majority of them, the downsides outweigh the up so they aren't worth it, which is a shame.

I've got a voice chat bug - cant hear anyone and they cant hear me, doesnt work in the settings microphone test either. Looks like there's lots of obscure wee bugs they need to fix.
Enjoying it so far, though absolutely hate soft core, roll on the 12th for hardcore, fed up emptying a clip with hit markers and the opponent let's off a shotgun and you die.
Lots of nice little additions, love the swimming bit on the waterworks map.
Not enjoying the border crossing or race track maps, too tunneled, whereas I prefer maps you can flank.
Doing camo unlocks is a bit of fun while waiting for season 1.

I thought Hardcore was coming on the 16th when season 1 starts.
I suspect it may struggle a bit, but if it's released it will probably play. Hopefully it wont be a Cyberpunk 
I've unlocked the STB 556 which is nice but the Kastov is bonkers, the damage range is huge.
The game strikes me as a real move from running and gunning. You really have to preaim a lot more now as the TTK is faster and ADS is much slower if you add a few attachments. I really don't see much benefit adding any optics to any SMG.

I DO like the fact that they've made C4 weigh a bit less than 40kgs, so you can actually throw it a fair bit.

Played a couple hours online and did really well.
Enjoying the story so far, had a couple crashes and then it launched in safe mode which turned all the graphics down and was a bit of a bugger but once returned to normal it's been fine.
Only annoyance I have is on PC when you change from story to multiplayer, it has to close and restart

I’ve tried to play a few nights this week now and IMO it’s unplayable without hardcore. I will caveat this by saying I’ve only played hardcore since the likes of mk4slowride, civ pilot etc since we used to have full lobbies back in 2007.
Now i’ve realised that was 15 years ago and I don’t know where the time has gone...

Big update was only for Xbox apparently, much smaller for PC and PlayStation.
Agree with the post above about the Kastov. I've just finished levelling up all the guns in the M4 family, finishing with the Hurricane which was pretty decent. The Kastov felt like a big step up in stopping power. I think i'm going to like it.
