I've done a few Elan laps now, 1m33s in every 1/10 not yet tried changing any setup.

Corvette....er.....yes....1m36s I think.

I see IanParker's done a 1m31.8s with the Elan on GTL Rank

That was a one off, I usually run in the mid 1:32's to 1:33's in the Elan. I've only done a few laps in the Jag , I think I'm in 1:36's. The Corvette is just horrible to drive (but it sounds glorious) !

I managed to DL the demo file successfully and the isntaller worked perfectly, but whenever I try and start the game I get a blue screen error that says "Multiple IRP Requests" or something similar and I have to reboot. Have tried a few different settings in the game configuration window you can call up (res, DIrectX settings etc) but no difference. Anyone have any idea what to do?

I have a GeForce 6800 Ultra, 1Gb Ram, 3.something GHz intel chip.

Wow my graphics card sucks.

Getting about 6 frames a second. Methinks it's upgrade time.

What GFX card do you have, some of them can't run DX9, select DX7 in the config screen.

Then find your PLR player file in the GTLDemo/userdata folder and edit the line Show motec in cockpit ="1" to Show MoTeC in Cockpit="0" and change Allow HUD in cockpit="0" to Allow HUD in cockpit="1".

Then by pressing 3 a couple of times you'll get the HUD in the cockpit and pressing 2 turns the motec on and off. The motec uses up a lot of FPS. Then turn all video options down to low or off and run the game in 800x600x16bit. Check your FPS and increase screen resolution to your normal setting and to 32bit, recheck, then start to add video options until you are happy.

Thanks bud. It's a blazingly fast FX5200....

I'll have a play and see if I can make it playable.

FX's aren't DX9 compatible (even if they say they are)

Run it on DX7 and you'll see an immediate improvement then try the other tweaks.
