Enjoying the nordschleife, only reason I played today, haven’t played in months.
I’ve done 2 laps so far, Abs being the only assist and using a controller
296 GTB Ferrari 07.52 lap, a scrappy lap but my first
M4 GTS 07.59 lap, not as scrappy but I did my best.
How realistic are the laptimes to real life, I don’t see how I can knock 30-40 seconds off the Ferrari lap, with the power and weight it has, I was thinking 7:10 maximum

Did a couple of laps of the nordschleife in the GMA T50. My, what a handful that is! Have unlocked wider tyres but needs slicks and a setup…
Re: Virginia, I take it this is from the bmw series? Did it once with a stock z3 coupe and hated it. With slicks, suspension and weight reduction it was a lot of fun.

Forza is faster than real life. The lap record around Nordschleife is 6:35 in an AMG ONE, after six laps I was already down to 6:33 in the stock car with minimal fine tuning and a bit of luck.Top of the X leaderboard is dominated by the Valkyrie AMR Pro capable of sub 5-minute laps, which is insanely fast.

It’s not in Featured Multiplayer, not yet at least, which is a real disappointment. I did mention a few pages back it wouldn’t be when the track was announced.They didn’t specifically say it wouldn’t be either, which I thought was a s
tty trick tbh. Instead, they glossed over it and just said it would be available in Career, Free Play, Private Multiplayer, and Rivals. Quite why Turd10 thought people wouldn’t want to race multiplayer on the most requested track in the game shows how clueless this team are.

It’s like playing the game on fast forward.
Do you sit in the driver's seat, hang off the front bumper, or chase in a drone?
I get a sense of achievement sitting in the seat, but can get better lines on the bumper, and don't see the point of drone-cam other than for cheating by being able to see the track five corners up the roiad.

I just discovered turning abs on is miles quicker. Previously had all assists off with a 2:40.6 best time. With abs I can knock a second off that easily and lap consistently in the 39’s. Game changer!
I'll hopefully be online on Sunday evening, not tried the Civic again recently - enjoyed doing the Nordschleife rivals event with the M1 ProCar, just endless eargasms with the induction and exhaust noise of that car; worth using cockpit view for the induction noise alone I just discovered turning abs on is miles quicker. Previously had all assists off with a 2:40.6 best time. With abs I can knock a second off that easily and lap consistently in the 39’s. Game changer!
Just in case some of you can't be arsed to tune cars for this week's multiplayer A class lobby I've listed below some tunes I've done.
Most have a mix of speed and grip but there are a couple of handling tunes. They all have race tyres.
If any of you do try them feedback would be much appreciated even if it's telling me not to give up my day job
1971 Javelin AMX 560bhp power tune for tracks like Road America
1995 BMW 850CSi power but grips well, works on most tracks with longer straights
Lamborghini Countach handling tune, good on most tracks
2019 Porsche 911 Carrera S grip tune but works really well on most tracks
2004 Porsche 911 GT3 grip tune, works well on most tracks
