I may be able to resist the fluffiness of Nintendogs, leave the majority of puzzle and platform games to my GBA SP, and get a PSP, but I have no idea which games to get with it. Help!

Yes things like Lumines and maybe Mercury, Black & White when it comes out and Sims 2, but I've never been able to get my head around FPS, driving games, and things like Final Fantasy. I've always wanted to but have been too scared to venture.

What would you recommend to convert me as painlessly as possible? :)

Cheers!

Ridge Racers - if you've wanted a go at driving games, this is a good start. Very arcadey, and quite an easy learning curve.

Wipeout's also very good, but gets hard quite quickly. Perhaps more longevity in it.

Other than that, Mercury, Lumines and its video/MP3 ability should keep you amused!

Forget Ridge Racer and all the other racers on PSP, burnout legends is out next week and will be super easy to pick up and play. But Liberty City Stories should be amazing.

Lumines is a great game, bit like Tetris in that it's a falling block game, but I actually think it's better - highly addictive! GTA will be the one to get, and if the idea of playing GT4 on the train doesn't appeal to you nothing will! (when it finally arrives...)
