I prefer the Escorts to the Capris, and you ought to get Le Mans as well as the 'ring (It's out there somewhere - can't remember where I got mine from.)

Check the forums at www.rscnet.org and also www.gtrresource.com/ and www.m4driving.it/files for downloads.

(Anyone else got any good GTR Download links? My list is a little short at the moment!)

Some more that I posted on my site here - www.mercia.biz/forum/viewtopic.php?t=89

There are more on the way too. I've been testing some and they're real beauties.

While I think of it, there's an Audi R8 and a Pescarolo C60 out there as well which are a giggle...

The Audi R8 is a leaked version, like the Caterhams if you see them as they aren't finished yet.

The Nissan R390 is a good one, prefer it to the Courage C60.

I heard talk of a DBR9 but that doesn't seem to be forthcoming.

I say we should revive the GT cars after the maser league, I used to love tooling around in the 550 and Saleen.

The DBR9 has been converted to run in game with GTR and AFAIK is having a few bugs ironed out and ploy count sorted for best FPS.

they should all have a gamedata folder as the top folder in the rar file, so if it does just extract it to where you installed GTR eg. c:/GTR (if you look in there you will see the gamedata folder. It will just install everything in there in the right subfolders.

Do you mean play the game without the CD in the drive? If so, it depends on how much hassle you're prepared to go through to make it work. It is possible, but it's really really awkward. Far easier to just use the CD

If you can't use the CD because you don't have one, go and buy the damn game. Its plenty cheap enough now and then you'll get a licence key so you can play online too.

When I tried this I got the usual error message about a file called 'gamedata' already existing and would I like to replace it? I assume I don't want to replace it as it will overwrite all the stuff already in the folder and the original gamedata will all disappear?

Nope you aren't replacing anything just adding new information, so will need to say yes to this.
