BF2: PH Clanserver?

I've seen this idea mentioned before, so while I had some spare time at work, I thought I'd do some research.
A 32 player BF2 Clanserver would cost £67.50/month for a three month rental (see here). Obviously, the more people that sign up, the cheaper it becomes per man (e.g. 15 people would only pay £5/month each).
Just wondering if anyone would be keen to do this? I rather fancy abusing some admin rights

MuahahahahahaahaHaving spent a frustrating few days on 'n00b'-ridden servers (where no other weapon exists but the grenade launcher, where dolphin diving seems to be the only tactic when facing fire, and where a TK is justified if you want the plane more than the next man etc), I thought I'd give this dead thread a bit of a bump.

I enjoy BF2 but would not be keen to pay for £67.5 a month or even 6.70 a month if there were 10 of us.
Normally you can get on a decent game without any problems.
I only play the ranked ones and am around every other night or so. Shoot me in the head if you see me!
Thanks for doing the research on the cost. It is anoying with bunny hoppers and other twits who punish for running into a mine or get run over by accident.
I tend to go for months playing a particular game and then switch to something else and hammer it for a few months and then bakc to another. So a regular payment out for our own server (which would be nice) would be throwing money away Im afraid.
Dont think ted woould allow us to use the PH logo (skull cross bones lookalike) anyway.

Have you guys seen this thing:

type your ID in and it gives you all your stats from ranked servers - more than you get on the normal game.

OK lets start a bf clan and get a server! If you are genuinely interested add your name to this and then in 7 days ie wednesday 8th I will see how many names we have and then find out the costs. If you have others interested check with them and add there names here as well. I think we need around a fair people to make this viable with around 64 slots on the server. I think it can be public with passwords for us.

Chaps, if you are interested, I'm sure I can have a chat to the guys who is sorting us out - won't be free, however I'm sure it'll be shed loads cheaper than anything else.

GTL is being done as a favour to me and the GTL community, however off of the 'findings' of the server and bandwidth usage my friend is looking at going into Game Server hosting. We have discussed this, and if you guys are interested I'm sure we can work out something.
