I wanted to get into gaming using Flight Simulator 2004 on my home computer but find it's not powerful enough. To upgrade it is uneconomic, so I'd need to buy a new one.

Is Flight Simulator or something similar vailable on xbox 360? If so can I plug a joy stick into the xbox or would I be limited to using the console.

If so it seems to make sense and wait until I can get hold of an xbox and keep the old computer for non gaming.

Consoles can't really do simulators, not flight simulators anyway, waaay too many buttons needed there are some crappy unrealistic flying games though.

For most of my flying games I have at just about the entire keyboard mapped, plus, extra stuff, mapped again on shift, ctrl, and alt and combiantion of those, as well at HOTAS controls on the joystick, god knows how I remember them all. Must be almost 100 buttons mapped altogether and I still haven't mapped every feature

I didn't realise I was entering into this sort of a world, do blokes like this have streched human skin hanging from the back of their bedroom door?

Perhaps I should go back to the dominoes

through the standard wired (or wireless) controller, would it be possible for MS to release a a joystick which had 50 controls/switches/buttons on it?

Yeah stuff like thats not uncommon, thats at the higher end, a lot of the gusy seem to have home made controls set up mainly rudders and few external instruments that display correct data from the game.

Me I just struggle along with a laptop on lowest graphic setting
