I dusted down the old PS2 last night and put in GT4.
Took the Elise out of the garage and gave it some road wheels then went to Leguna Seca. Sooo much fun! My old steering wheel is cream crackered so I was using the pad; it was so hard to stay on the road, slowdown, get the power down etc, etc.
Much more fun than using those fake sticky tyres to keep on the track! I managed to get round in 1:51 after a few laps, but never managed any consistancy as my speed varied so much I could never get the proper braking distance or turn in points.

Lift-off oversteer was much more realistic and it felt like I was walking a tightrope the whole time.

Best bit of flow I've had whilst not driving for a while.

I dug this out the other day too - great game. I have the 900degree steering wheel at home to which I should dig out too.

I know a few people who have complained of it not working. The only link i can see is that a few of their other games have stopped working as well, so I'm guessing its the laser. One of my friend's ps2 stopped reading dvds after a while.

Thats the thing, the game stopped loading completely, but everything else worked!!

I had made some supercar beating sheds too....quality Z31 Fairlady and a Mk3 Supra nailing ridiculous times around El Capitan

anyone wanna sell me a copy for a bacon sandwich and a cup of slosh?

I'd started playing this again the other day as well. It took me a while to get back into the swing of things after playing Need for Speed Most Wanted.

I used to play GT3 all the time, but since GT4 I cant get back into it!

The handling seems so real on GT4, especially when the TCS is switched off and back end gets twitchy
