Fairly quiet on the posting today chaps!

I take it you are all sneakily practising

I've just done a quick race in single player, pitting every other lap. I finished 10th....... out of 10
( I really suck at pitstops ) I'm losing approximately 1 minute on a stop. The GTC 65 will give 76 a good run IMO

Bl00dy Hell! you spend all week practising and then technical problems arse everything up.

I'd spent an hour before qualifying having a final practice offline. As soon as I go into out server, my wheel felt funny and I'd oversteer or understeer at unpredictable moments. I quit out and rebooted everything but it was still teh same. I switche FF off and on but it made no difference. Then I started altering the sensitivity settings in the controls section but it still felt funny. I quit out again, and then the race started - ARSE!

Final result is I can't drive anywhere now (even more than usual ), it's like I turn the wheel and nothing happens, I turn a bit more and still nothing, then all of a sudden it turns like crazy and I oversteer everywhere. It's the same with the throttle and brake. Nothing and then all of a sudden you get max everything, its almost like I'm playing a keyboard.

I give up! I hate PC games

Really sorry for you I know you were looking forward to it!
Sounds like the centres off (massive dead zone). I had a wheel lurgy in the race, lost all force feedback, really light wheel unless I hit the kerbs. Had an excellent race though, good and clean, with some excellent passing and clean passes. managed ninth overallwhich was 4th or 5th in class. Not bad for my first online championship race

Tonights race was great fun, even though I forgot to brake into the first corner and ended up last ...DOH!

Have a nice (mostly clean ...sory) tussle with the back of the 65 cars and finnally got passed a couple and then it all kinda went down hill

Pitted (never had a pit stop before) and was stuck at that selection screen (thinking it was a list of what was being done) then pressed the arrow keys which made me realised that I had to press enter to 'make it work'. Then after about 1 min I thought to myself 'I should have deselected the suspension and other things that was selected', especially as I didn't even know there was anything wrong

Finnaly left the pits after something like 130+ seconds and floor'd it ...DOH! pit lane speeding stop n go

Then just getting close to a GT40 and it's race over

But what fantastic fun can't wait for next week

Yellow Porsche 911? I was on the limiter in the red DeTomaso and I saw one catch me up in the pitlane.

try clicking on the sort of wheel you have in the advance menu of the controller bit, sounds like the ffb might have been unreversed

Wheel sensitivity is best at 50%, which is linear...

Ran out of fuel on the 13th lap, was just getting ready to challenge for 4th - and then the dreaded splutter and cough.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

*kicks cat* What makes this so depressing is the fact I was on for a stunning race considering I fell off twice. I'd clawed my up through the pack - and then disaster...

I'm vowing to kill everyone in Dijon...

I remembered (looking at the results) I let a couple of people past thinking I was being lapped (76 cars) then noticed the position number, doh! effectively let them passed, will look more carefully next race (the position is shown next to the name on track (tab to display))

Nice one FWD, I love looking at those graphs etc.

Suppose I'd better update the league page with the results...

Last night was a disaster for me ! I've done my tailbone in (for want of a better word) in a drinking-related shape cutting move do doubt so i couldn't sit in the chair properly. Despite this i still managed to get into the race and was doing well until i took a bit too much grass coming out of one of the left turns with heavy camber... cue brown cordroy moment (as i was 2nd at that time) and then it was time for luncheon in what appears to be a hidden car park.

So after that i thought i'd pit on the same lap...entered at full speed got it down into first and on the limiter, pulled up in the pits.. and hit enter and for some reason that can only be described as rage inciting, the pitstop menu appeared and went away again within a second. Wasted pitstop . By this time i must have been at least a lap and a half down, 5 laps fuel or so left and i still have to come in. At this point i lost total interest! Normally i would stay in the race just to keep the track busy for the rest of the front runners but on this occaision i was feeling rough, had back ache and massively messed up my race. At which point i quit in disgust and retired to my bed to lament and curse myself.

Apologies for the undignified exit.Hope to do better next week. I might go and have to sweep the corners of marbles though

I was getting nervous as you were gaining on me significantly but when you span I did let out a little evil chuckle - I saw it all in my rear view mirror
