I heard if you force the console to overheat it can actually solve the 3 red light issue. Albeit temporarily of course.

Managed to do 8 runs in the sub 52 second timeframe this evening since returning home - best of which was a 51.82 in the R500, I'll probably give it a few more go's tomorrow before getting plastered for the Scotland V Italy match which I'll be watching in a local italian pub

Those 50s are mighty impressive anyone got a 49 in them?

Sounds obvious, but anyone up for arranging a class C race around the same track? Now it's safe to say we're all fairly familiar with it's intricacies it could be fun?

I've been 0.8secs up with 2 corners left and clipped the barrier, so I really do think that a very high 49 is possible, and I'll do my best to get there before the close of play tomorrow night

I can now lap almost consistently in the sub 52's, and most of the time in the 51's, it's just hitting every corner perfect in one single lap that's eluding me so far...

are you using a wheel? thats the only way i can think of extracting more time out of any of the cars i prefer to use, but i cant be arsed to set up my DFP

31 hours left to go... Are there going to be any big upsets.. will the table get rocked by a very late comer... who knows..

I know I won't be impacting the leaderboard for a little while!!!

I can't quite remember if we decided whether I pick the next track as the organiser, or whether we pass that choice onto the weeks winner... Any thoughts folks?

No wheel being used here, just the standard wireless controller

Wheel being used here. Maybe the wheel is slower than the pad. Used to be the case with GT4 on the PS2

well ive done lap after lap after lap this week. Ive changed between the Q1, R500 and Exige more times than ive had a cuppa with a rich tea biscuit. I managed to further improve my time by a whole 13 hundredths but sadly its not enough to launch me back into the top 3 which is dissapointing after being second for most of the week

Table updated with latest times of all the guys in my friends list.

I'm starting to lose the plot with myself as I can be .5secs up at the first split and then .9secs up on the second split only to mess up the 2nd to last corner, I've thrown maybe 30-40 laps at it and can't improve on the 50.94 I put in yesterday, so it's time to put something else in the drive and play until the new track/class is decided tonight

Don't have time to look at the splits, focusing too much on the track and the correct line.
Tried all the usual suspects and quite suprised by how different all of the cars feel and respond.
Got my best time in one not currently on the P/H leader board oddly enough, just couldn't get on with the Caterham or Noble.
Looking forward to the next challenge.

I don't think so, you have the option to select which ghosts you want to show up though, and can set all 3 of these to none, but then you will still get your fastest one from the session you're about to start coming up all the time - best thing to do is when selecting the ghost you want to show up, choose from leaderboard option and pick the number 1 time's ghost, then you've something to chase

Hmm - thought so.

I find the ghosts don't go "see through" enough when you're right on top of them. Just have to pick one I can't catch then like you say

At first when I started this last Sunday night I would have the writing on top of all the ghosts too, which did my nut in, but after some faffing around in the menu's they've been gone ever since...I find the ghosts not too annoying now compared to at first, maybe it just takes time to be able to subconsciously ignore them
