Well, that's me out of this one.... the dreaded 3 lights of death. On a 6 month old Elite that only gets used for about 5 hours a week and is situated 1 foot away from an external air vent so can't overheat!

Will get a replacement sometime next week hopefully.

Make that two of us, mine died last week (3-lod), have been nicking the odd 30mins on my sons when he is not looking, I though the Elites were meant to be more reliable??

I thought that aswell. I'm back online though - I bought the Elite through Play.com so after having a little moan, they've collected it today and are giving me a refund.... so I went out and bought another one last night from Game.

So now I've got no excuse but I really can't see me getting anywhere close to 6 minutes on the first track, I just can't remember that amount of corners and fall off every 20 seconds or so. This track will really sort the men out from the boys.... and I'm just off to change into my school uniform!

I can't believe that I'm still only 0.4s behind sssline on a lap of the Nordschleife!

If only I hadn't messed up the first corner... and gone offroading about another 4 times.

Really love the RT12 on this track - oh for just one clean lap!

I am 3 seconds behind you 2 and could see myself being a bit quicker with a clean lap but easier said than done!!mad

But i can not see how on earth anyone can do the very top times of 5mins 6 secs or soeek I would say it is impossible to go 25 seconds faster than my time without dodgy driving of some sort, but the times are there. No idea how they do it at all!! I mean that i am usually a second or 2 off the top times normally but even giving a 5 min lap,to be 25 seconds off the pace with only maybe 5 seconds in it with a perfect lap for me i just can't see how they do it!! confused

Anyhow, missus is out tonightbiglaugh so few more laps later as well as try the new COD4 maps out as well...cool

Apart from mike its very close and great fun....went from 4th to 2nd to 3rd to 4th in the space of an hour last night!!laugh

My lap was pretty good apart from running off the road at the left hander before the little carousel!!rolleyes but no more laps today. Out with the kids and then up to London for a concert tonight.

Have fun!!

P.s. Are we doing the same version of the 'ring with class A for next week???

Fantastic competition last night - the times are unbelievably close on such a long lap and achieved in 3 very different cars! smile

Not sure if I will get chance to improve my time today - got to go out furniture shopping with the other half. frown

Cheers, that was tight between 4 of us in the end, I had 3 laps on the trot were I was up on my previous time just for the heart rate to quicken into the fast right hander/ left hand banked curve at the end miss the line and screw it up, finally got through there clean (if slow) to creep back to second place.
I think the ring should come with a health warning on pgr4wobble
