How long will the races be? Will it be time or laps etc?
15 Minutes last series, but I thought it was a bit short, so how about 20 ?
I would agree on the previous races being on the short side. 20 sounds good to me. How about, as an idea, a one off longer endurance style race in the mix somewhere? Just a suggestion.
the ring '07? yum

MJ - thanks for the email, Rfactor has packed up for me though, some exe fault, was loving the 70s F1 mod to frown

I wont be joining this series mind, I'm right at the finishing stages of a property at the mo so pretty full on & TBO it was not light hearted enough for me last time, to much squabbling.

Bring back the GTL Fezza series I say!

If i get Rfactor working at some stage in March & you are still racing then I might well join for a couple of races for fun!

thanks for the invite, hope it goes well Mark driving

As it stands at the minute, it will be Option 3, initially racing the Lambo's then on to the Race mod. Will double check everything tomorrow.

Only issue now is the server - no response from Neil so far.

An average turn out - let's put it down to January blues....

Voting Results

Calendar
1. Option 3 = 6 votes
2. Option 2 = 1 vote
3. Option 1 = 1 vote

Car Mod
1. Gallardo Challenge = 14 points
2. Race Series = 8 Points
3. BMW 320 E21 = 6 Points
4. Formula BMW = 5 Points

And so the series is set.

Please see the Race Calendar (to be added shortly) - link below and on the first post, page 1.

http://www.mercia.biz/mj/HTML-Export/Calendar.html

First 7 races will be with the Gallardo's, then a special stage with the BMW 320's at Ring 07. Then next 7 races using the Race Mod followed by a final special stage with the Formula BMW's around Virtua Le Mans.

What to do next:
1. Download the required tracks and Mods to your PC. (See original post or Series Calendar)
2. Choose your vehicle for each series and PM me with your car description and number. The vehicle you select needs to be maintained through the series or incure a 2 point penalty.
3. Practice, Practice, Practice smile

Need to sort out the server issue but maybe we need to start thinking of a back-up - anyone else able to host ?

Upload speed is the issue with hosting. Forget what download speeds you get. I think I get between 300-450k upload speeds, which might be ok with less than 10 people online.

Do you mean because of the rfactorcentral limit on downloads?

If so just use the links without the symbols next to them, they are free file host sites like megaupload, filefront etc.. (although they don't offer simultaneous multiple downloads unless you pay for premium accounts).

I had a go with the Gallardos on Brands last night, plenty more practice needed methinks nuts
