rFactor - 2008 Pistonheads Series
Discussion
PC is off "back to base" to get sorted out. Can not believe it took me this long to ring them to rant down the phone.
Just waiting for a date from the courier now, but I guess I will be out of action for the next couple of races.
Just send me the race files and I'll update accordingly - guess I will concentrate on winning just the two special stages and the Race series now then

Hi all,
I've been watching this thread for a while but havent been available for the previous two weeks. I did practice on Pembrey and put in consistent 53.xx laps. I have just had a go at Donnington and after a very quick practice (10 laps) I managed a 1:31, is that any good in the lambos?
Also, would I be welcome along for the next race?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Tom

An enjoyable return to racing, although I thought we had finished when I went past the line with time at 0 - a shortcut later and I had a stop / go. I had enough of a lead over dobbo to still keep my place but my pit-box was passed the start finish line so that demoted me and promoted dobbo to 5th place

It's updated the overall tables, but not Doningtons Results breakdown.Second race in these cars and I still hate them, either my set-up is awful (which perhaps it is ) or these cars do not suit my style of driving, either way I’m st in them.....
Best I could manage was a 1'13, but this was more the fact that on every lap I would be wrestling the car at low speed to keep it pointing in the direction I wanted it to go.
The usual race incidents were a blessing to me and I moved up the order from last to 5th, kept it fairly clean, went for one or two excursions, and finished up in 6th.
Roll on the Special Stage and phase two of the championship !
Results updated with the last two races - lost my FTP software, then the login details.

Could I suggest something.
Although Crystal Palace is a nice little circuit it's very tight and short, I wonder if we could run a touring car track in it's place. And with the release of the Birmingham Superprix circuit I wondered if it could be run instead of CP? It would be good with the RACE cars. We could pretend we were on RS500 Sierras

Didn't realise there was only one more race - I'll be there on Sunday, Maybe FWD will make a guest appearance too
Need to start thinking of Car Number / Type for the 320's and the Race Series. I'll look this evening and update this post.
