Oh dear we have got into a mess here on a new car. I suggust that because there will not be a unanimous winner that we have all voted for we should continue with the golf and use the poll results for our next league car.
it looks like theres is a clear leader to me!!!

V6 clio is romping it
yes but my point is that only 50% of us voted for it (so far) not all of us. It would have been different if all of us (100%) voted for it. We have ended up in two minds here but i will go with the flow. Just think we should finish wot we started then move onto V6 clio's

For what it's worth I agree with Idlewillo, we should finish what we started, but again will go with the majority....

I'm quite happy either way, I don't have a problem with sticking with the Golf for a couple more races but I would vote for swithcing to the Clios. They are mental!

I see the merit in sticking with what we started with but personally have found the Golfs to be just too slow to make it interesting.

I voted for the Clios as they were just more fun to drive and I actually thought the racing was better. They are quite tricky on the limit which is fun to drive and also pressure the car in front into an error.

I voted for the ST, but I haven't driven the Clio and I'd be happy going with those based on everybody's feedback.

Okay, so how does this sound?

I think we should shorten the championship and do a couple more events (Laguna Seca & Road Atlanta) and then we can start throwing about some more ideas for a V6 Clio series.

The poll results are slightly confusing, but hey-ho. biggrin

I'm also quite keen to get on with the PHGT!

I liked the idea someone suggested earlier about running the GT cars about the same time as the one-make stuff but perhaps having it less frequently, fortnightly for example. Seperate Championship tables for each of course.

We haven't had a full PHGT testing lobby yet so I reckon that is something to do before we get started on that!

What do you think?

This is one of the reason we need some more testing!
The main contenders are the R3/4 cars I think.

But I still think some high end S class cars with weight/power restrictions would be quite interesting too!

Testing to try and work out which class provides the closest and most enjoyable racing! driving

I think the idea of the One-Make series is that we all have identical, completely stock cars, so the S-Class Clio is out the window on that count! hehe

So, are we going to go for a couple more meeting in the Golf for now?!
