3 blokes, three different cars, three arguments, no conclusions... yep, virtual top gear! hehe
Well there was some agreement! wink
The Cayman S for instance, quick and competent but ultimately boring.

The Exige though (either version), that's a whole new can of worms! hehe

I'm up for more thoughts later this week! driving
Well, there were conclusions, I just remember them being that all of us liked different cars and couldn't come up with ONE. banghead

I'm currently not tired and looking through cars at the moment. I still like that Exige for reasons I will try and explain when we're next online together lol.

But I am looking for alternatives.

No problem chap! thumbup

We looked at a faster Class C car and those in B & A.
I think we've ruled out A class, just so that we can have a few other championships withhout having silly fast cars. smile

I'll maybe see you later Graham smile

Lozza, we dont want to go slower than the E36 but nothing beyond class B... we'll up the pace gradually. smile

Suggestions welcome.

You're bound to be ahead of me as i'm missing it this sunday......but i'll be ready for the 'ring though! biggrin

As for thoughts on cars, the S4 I drove on sunday was good. Quite tricky to get it handling just right.......but a grid of them will look good painted up?

Well we ruled out FWD cars and were undecided over 4WD. I think we worked out that some are fun (Impreza's) so the S4 could be a good shout.
I drove the S5 on our testing night (we were pretty thorough!) and loved it! driving

laugh Twitchy? Nonsense. Okay maybe a little bit hehe

I'm actually swaying more towards a grid of Maserati Gransports but I htink Ben and I were going to have a little chat about it and perhaps a play a bit later on to see what's what and try and get a really good car for all of us.

Good racing last night chaps, I tried to stay out of the way as much as possible. Enjoyed the S class race as well, but was just too knackered to stay up any later!!!!!

Okay, I thought it about time I took some pictures of the races. So without further procrastination...

RACE 1:

Coming down to the hairpin where we thought it would get...interesting.

Some of you don't see what I see with Mikey...but this was what happened on my screen...

The CA Works chaps having some close racing

The battle for 2nd place between Loz and myself

Wuz and Loz having a bit of a 'moment'

RACE 2:

First corner exit

Race 2 was pretty uneventful at the front and the back, but the battle for 2nd between Loz and Ben was very exciting.

Loz getting a bit brave and giving it a bit too much POWEERRRRR

Ben has spied a gap with Loz's wide entry and decides to take advantage with some late braking...

After a little nudge after Ben's ambitiously late braking, he can't hold it and Loz stays in front

The battle continues on the start/finish straight

More late braking, "I'll have him in the braking zone!"

There was a gap and Ben takes full advantage (for a bit)

It was quite close...

With Loz spying a gap on the last corner on Lap 8

RACE 3:

Race 3 was very very normal. Nothing really happened apart from my unexpected off from the lead on the last corner of Lap 9/10 which would've been an absolute flyer (1:01.900) banghead

Perfect line going in, turning right and feathering the throttle...

Still perfect line, turning right and feathering...

Still turning right...but...um...no that's going straight on???

Yes, that ended up in the wall frown

I stand corrected...I was too far out in front to really notice what was going on back there wink

Our little battles were good fun and some very tight moments lol.
