Couldn't make it last night and the week 'ring event went wrong when my cats decided to sit next to the door (just out of arms reach) and meow constantly, to go out... then sit outside the door and meow to come back in rage It was fun until then though, just a shame about the multiple restarts as the first few starts went much better than the latter ones.

Have uploaded the Mini Challenge to the server - v1.1

http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=MINI%2...

The 206 super 2000

http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=207%20...

and the Civic Cup

http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=242...

Have set the server to run 5 lap races around the following short tracks (currently on the Mini's).

Brands Indy
Monza Short
Pembrey
Rockingham Short
Silverstone National
Nurburg Short
Mills Metropark Short
Toban Short

Something to play around with until we start the new series.

These Mini's are fapping brilliant.

Very controllable, with a bit of speed also.

This one defo gets my vote for the next series. I should imagine we should all be very very close in terms of racing (barring accidents)

Maybe as a suggestion we should all do a few laps of Brands Indy to compare times and see how close things might be.

53.010 here after 20 laps..

Hey guys. Just joined PH having found the site over the new year. I've been racing on LFS for a few years now and I've been messing around with rfactor for the last couple of months. I'd like to join your league If I may cause the online pickup race servers are a bit rubbish.

I could do with an idiots guide to connecting though cause Im a bit of a noob.

Did a one lap blast round brands earlier and did a 54 flat. Some practice needed I think!

Snowed in so I'll try the Minis tonight for a little while before then taking my frustrations out on American teenagers on MW2.

I keep getting a mismatch with the minis on the server.

Any ideas on a fix?

Yes.

I tried reinstalling a couple of times as well.

It works fine offline, im pretty sure its a problem with the server (or the way I installed the mod)

I'd rather race these - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNIy_8V53KE

biggrin

Hrumph, new PC and I've lost my sound on rFactor exports again, got it back last time by changing the sound recording device I think. I was using a Hercules Digifire 7 card in my old PC. But I have a 7.1 HD onboard sound car with this PC (ASUS M4A79XTD EVO mobo).

Anyone have an ideas with sound? In Win7 I have recording devices in the sound controls but none of them are active or useful.

Looks like a driver problem.

You could always disable the onboard sound in the bios and plug in your old card (I still have an irrational preference for a PCI soundcard)

As for what to race, the Mini is more fun than I expected, but im looking forward to giving the TVR's a go again.

I unzipped V1 to my desktop then patched it with v1.1 then copied it all into rfactor.

I think if memory serves me both rar files have different structures there might be an extra folder in the servers rfactor folder that the 1.1 patch had gone into.

On my phone here so not checked if it's working.
