That's one of the things I'm sorting, as fixed as they could be, but with some basic adjustments. It's a weird way it's done and a lot of guess work/trial & error with switching things off.

SMALL PATCH - http://www.mercia.biz/rfactor/tuscans/TC-Patch1.ra...

Download this but don't install it until the server has been updated.

It's a small 2 file patch, it replaces the current HDV and engine.ini files to remove most of the common setting changes in the garage. So it's fixed gears, diff settings. You can change brake bias and steering ratio though.

Assuming I can ever get into the server - and that I get connected to the internet in time in the new house - my track vote is for Eastern Creek.

For me any one of these tracks would suit the Tuscans perfectly so choose one for me!!!

I fancy some fantasy action. (something I said to the missus last night)

Road One

Aardvark 2

Oldring (takes some of the classic corners from classic circuits and mixes them all together)

Or a couple of real world circuits:

Goldenport (though might not suit the Tuscans)

Or I have found a new version of Thruxton. Although beta, its by Lazercutter so probably more complete than some fully finished circuits. (the major point being lack of braking marker boards but thats not a huge drama)

Thruxton

Anyone know what the default 5th gear is like down the long straight at Bathurst? Does it redline early?

If it's not long enough I will edit the files to make the gears longer (but still fixed) for Bathurst only. Special single race setup.

After a massive amount of fiddling, changing IP addresses, messing with ports on the router (none of which I ever needed before) I was able to get into the server.

God knows if it will still actually work at 8:00 tonight but if it does I'll see you chaps there!

I'll be online 7:45 - 9pm

I want to catch Rock & Chips to see if it's any good, can't be bothered to record it as I'll never watch it.

I'm on now I will have to tweak the gears as it's redlining in 5th down the straight, don't know why it's doing it all I did was lock the gear settings.

It only hits the limter at the end though.
