Race 1 - qualified in 5th, got a good start and managed to miss the Yorpedo missile into T2 and came out in 2nd with a bit of a gap over Andy ? TVR Man was starting to pull away from me and after Quali I knew my tyres would take a pounding if I tried to keep up the pace, so decided to manage the gap with Andy. Even after doing that all four tyres were in the yellow and reading 120+ at the end.

Race 2 - with 112kg of ballast I was not sure how the car would perform. Was cautious in to T2 and managed to drive around the outside and over the grass to come out in 2/3rd ? The car was noticeably slower on acceleration but more of a problem was that the brake bias was now too much to the rear and kept locking up under heavy braking - this lead to me spinning coming in to the tight hairpin after a lap or two of a battle with Andy. I rejoined just behind TVR Man and had a good couple of laps with him and with the extra 38kg's made things just about evens. I then made an error and spun and rejoined and had a good battle with Yogi eventually passing him with an 8 second gap to Dobbo with 3 laps left. I closed to just under 2 but ran out of time.

Was a good night of racing, although more crashes than usual.

Next week a further iteration of success ballast :- 1st = 120kg, 2nd = 100 & 3rd = 80kg

Slow and steady from me Well I was defiantly slow.....

Race 1 - Got a very good start and was up to second after T1, but my lack of speed resulted me in going backwards. Had a good couple of laps with PV before he buggered off.

Race 2 - Not so good start and Yogi got away but after a lap or so I caught him up and pressured him into a mistake which allowed me to get a run of him coming out of one of the corners. Pulled away and created about a 5 second gap, saw a load of cars close in on me, then they crashed, same thing happened time and time again - I was so slow in comparison in the corners, but with no added ballast I pulled away on the straights to claim my first win of this series.

Top Gear is at 20:30 this weekend, so suggest a 21:30 start.

Results updated and Server is on the final circuit of this series. All to play for between Andy, PV and Me to secure 3rd spot. Congrats to TVR Man for his first series win and some superb driving along the way.

Ah well, it was a good series dominated by TVR Man, lets hope he is not so fast in the next set of cars !!

I thought the race 2 sucess ballast worked well and made things more interesting.

Next weekend it's the Christmas Special with a one hour race around Nords in the Enduracers mod. No car restrictions, no mandatory pit stops, but there will be 30 AI to contend with.

Just had a quick go using the Spyker and AI at 120% - felt like I was going backwards so will slow them down a bit.
